"Emily! Can you do me a favor?" Josh asked, slinging his backpack onto the table.

"What is it? You want me to drive you and Carter to the movies?"

"Actually I was hoping you would drive me and Skylar to the movies," Josh shifted his feet.

Emily's ears perked up. "So you got a date?"

"Yeah."

"Ok what day do you need me to drive you?"

"Tonight? There's a movie showing at 7:00 and I need to pick her up a little earlier than that."

"Of course! And I can meet this girlfriend of yours and see if she's worthy! Now go get something nice on. I'm leaving to pick her up at 6:00."

"Worthy?"

"Go get some nice clothes. Athletic won't cut it."

"Okay then."

Josh grinned, happy that his sister agreed so willingly. Normally, she didn't agree to anything unless he had blackmail on her. Then he left to go get a collared shirt."

                                                                                     ~~~~~~~~
By the time the movie was over, Emily was already parked outside, ready to pick the two of them up. "So how was the movie?"
"It was great!" Skylar was practically beaming which meant Josh did something right.
"Did you two get anything?"
"Just some popcorn and m&ms," Josh replied.
"Are M&Ms your favorite candy Skylar?" Emily asked.
"Yes."
Emily drummed her fingers on the steering wheel. "Do you like any horror books?
"No. Most of them are too scary."
"Hmm not very brave," Emily muttered.
"What?"
"N-nothing. Do you want some music on? What station?"
"Hits one?"
Emily turned it on, the music filling up the entire car. "Very generic," she mumbled to herself.
They pulled up onto Skylar's driveway. "Well it was very nice meeting you Skylar."
"You too! Bye Josh."
"Bye Skylar," Josh gave a little wave.
Skylar got out of the car, and with one last look, walked into her house. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong with Josh's sister. She walked up to her room, and went to grab her book when she heard tapping. "Hello? Anyone there?"
"You aren't worthy." The voice came from the doorway.
Skylar whirled around. Emily was standing in the doorway. "Emily? Aren't you supposed to be driving Josh home?"
"Not yet. Not until after this if finished."
"Until what is finished?"
"You must prove you're worthy."
"Worthy? Worthy for what?"
"Not important as you aren't worthy of him."
"What do you mean?"
Emily took a few steps towards Skylar. She smiled, and pulled out the knife. Skylar's eyes widened and was about scream when Emily shushed her. "Prove your worthiness," was the last thing Skylar heard before the blade slit her throat.
