This will be my last horror short for about two to three weeks where I will not have an electronic with me. Hope you guys enjoy it!
We were at the movies, buying popcorn. "Do you want a medium or a large?" Mom asked, looking at the popcorn machine.
"Medium with a box of skittles please," I answered.
"Okay." She handed the clerk some money and we headed to our seats. The movie was just about to start, the lights dimming as we sat. Mom plucked a piece of popcorn from my bag.
"Hey!" I exclaimed.
"Just checking if it's poison." She winked.As soon as she took a bite, though, Mom started choking.
"Mom!" I yelled, ignoring the people around me. I didn't know what to do. I was helpless as my mom fell to the ground dead. That's when I realized the popcorn was poison.
