Nikki's pov

i could feel matts soft lips pressed against my cheek for what felt like forever. he pulled away and winked before he walked over to carter who was calling him. i smiled to myself as i watched his retreating back. but suddenly, i felt really dizzy and the room was spinning. i lost my balance and started to fall over. i closed my eyes and braced myself for the fall when a warm and strong pair of arms grabbed me. i opened my eyes to see my savior and i saw matt looking down at me with worry written all over his face. "are you okay?" he asked while he helped me to my feet. i smiled greatfully and blushed a little because of my embarrasing clusmy-ness. "y-yeah im okay" i nodded. "thanks by-" i got my sentence cut short by tori loudly running over to me. she was panting. "NIKKI" she yelled with excitement taking over her face. "YOULL NEVER GUESS WHAT I JUST FIGURED OUT" she said jumping up and down causing her curls to bounce. "what?" i asked hoping it was something important rather than something relating to harry potter or les mis. "ENJOLRAS WAS THE ONE WHO CARRIED EPONINE WHEN SHE DIED" she cried with joy and she began bouncing again. i gave her an are-you-kidding-me glare as she stopped bouncing and looked and saw matt. "ohhhh! sorry nols." she looked in some other direction. she shrugged and waved goodbye, leaving matt and i alone again. i gave him a nervous smile and walked away to where melissa was standing while waiting in camerons line.
