Hi, my name is Ava Garcia. I'm a 22 years old student of zoology at one of the faculties in Barcelona. I adore my family, animals and friends. I have an older sister Ela and younger brother Alex. My parents are veterinarian and we all, including our grandma live together in a big farm on the outskirts of Barcelona.

27 th of June - 12:35 pm

I knock on the door professor's cabinet. "Come in," I hear a deep voice. I take a deep breath and walk through the door. "Hello, professor. Ava Garcia, I came to see my results of the last exam," I said and shift one's weight nervously from one foot to another. "Garcia, you said?" I nod.
"Hmmm, I can't find you," professor says and scratched his chin.
"Well, it's impossible. Last night you send me an e-mail that you have results." Now he is that one who nods. "Just tell me please your ID number. We will immediately resolve that."
I reach in my wallet for student card and I give it to him with trembling hands. I pray to God, that I pass that last exam and that I can finally go on a weeeeeell deserved vacation!
"Miss, can you hear me?" I was awakened from my minds. "Oh, I am sorry. I was totally in my minds," I said and smile. Professor smiles back to me: "Your brains are already on holidays, right?" I nod. I really don't know if I would say something or not. At the end I decided to stay quiet.
"Justified, Miss Garcia. On your last exam you gather 67 of 70 points, which mean this is a grade 10. We'll see you in autumn in a senior year." I stare at professor and saying absolutely NOTHING. Wait, what? 10? Seriously? Finally vacations??? YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! My heart beats like crazy, but I really try to stay calm. I shook hands with professor and wished him a pleasant holidays. And then I finally went out into the sun. "Bye Faculty," I said, sit in the car and drive myself at home.

I park a car in front of the house, where I am greeted by the dogs - Lu and Bear. I caress them and walk into the house. "Hello," I shout and walk in the kitchen. Mum and grandma preparing lunch, there is also my best friend Victoria and she is playing with my little brother. "So, what are the results?" asks mum. I sit on a chair: "Ah, it is bad. Very, very bad."
They all look at each other. Mum comes to me and give me a hug: "Oh, darling. You spent a lot of time to learn."
"I am not going anywhere without you, Ava," my friend says. I start to laugh: "I got you! 67 points of 70! It's a biiiiiiiig 10! Two weeks of having fun, chill and relax are waiting on me!!" All of them start laughing, mum hugs me even more and kiss me on a cheek.
"Well, it's time to pack, my friend!" Victoria shouts, grab my hand and took me to my room. I jump in my wardrobe room to pick a suitcase and start staring in closet and thinking what should I take with me. "Do you have a list of what you will take with you?" Victoria asks. "Yeah, it's in a drawer of the nightstand."

I decided to return back in my room: "Vict..." I start but in the same second stay as dug, when I see how she sits on my bed and held in the hands something, what is not look like a list for vacation. "Are you serious, Ava? You still got that photo? Put that thing on the garbage or burn it, for God's sake!" I drop my suitcase on the floor, walked up to her and pulled that photo of her hands: "Can you leave this, please?" In my eyes the tears are begin to collect.
"Ava, I can't believe it. You still not get over this idiot? Do you even realize what he done to you?! In your worst moment he left! LEFT AVA!!!" She is crying, too.
"Ava, dad is calling," little Alex interrupted us. I wipe my tears and answer the call. "Hi, dad."
"Congrats, love. Hurry up with packing and jump on the plane," happily says dad. On that moment I realize that I have to finish with crying because it is time to have fun. "Thanks, dad. Are you going to be right on time at home, to say goodbye?"
"I doubt, honey. I have already spoken with Victoria's dad. He will take you to the airport."
"OK, then I call you when we arrive. Have a nice day, dad. Love you," I finished. At the end dad says something have a great time and watch yourself.
I put the phone down and look at Victoria: "Your dad will drive us to the airport." Victoria nods: "I know. Well, I am going home now, I remembered that I do not have everything packed yet. See you tomorrow morning, right. Bye," she says and leaves.

I realize that I still hold photo in my hands. I run downstairs and through the back doors to the outside of the fireplace. I grab the lighter and burn that photo. "Go away from my life," I say, turn around and rushed back to my room to get ready for tomorrow's departure.
