"It is my fault, Ava," Vicky says when we get into our room. "I don't understand," I answer when I sit on the balcony. "Alex texted me what happened with Sakis and in that moment they delivered a bouquet. I couldn't resist to not look at who sent it to you. I had a bad feeling. When I saw that the sender was him, I was totally convinced that I would prevent your dinner. Alex and I went yesterday for a walk and we past the warehouse, I remembered that this would be the best solution. At first Alex was not for it," she says. "And how did you convinced him?" I ask. "I didn't. He realized that there is no other option," she smiles. If that quarrel with Sakis would not ruin me that way, I would probably laugh. Or I would get angry. Actually, I don't know. At the moment I really don't care. Those 5% of me who are not destroyed are happy that their plan has been fulfilled. Hell, 100% of me is happy. How not to be. I made a step forward with Marc, although I do not even dare to think about how it will all end. "If you don't mind, I would take a shower. And then I would be very happy if you went with me to lunch," I say and walk to the bathroom. "Lunch? It's ten in the morning. Breakfast has just finished," Vicky laughs. "Okay, then I'll invite you to the pizza," I say more cheerfully. When I come in a few minutes back to the room, I see Vicky tapping on the phone. "It a beach party tonight," she says and looks at me. "I probably won't go," I say immediately. "Why not? These parties are the best," Vicky insists. "I don't know. I can't think now. I am too hungry. Shall we go?" I ask when someone knocks on the door. "I invite Alex and Marc, if you don't mind?" she happily says and rushes to the door. I make a big smile: "Of course I don't mind." Vicky opens the door and my eyes immediately look at Marc. He is so perfect. He's wearing a turquoise-grey without sleeves T-shirt and turquoise swim shorts. We smile to each other. "I only take my purse," I say and rush to take the purse, and at that time I jump to the bathroom to put on my favorite perfume. I fix my straight hair and lightly dress. "Ava, did you go to Indonesia for your purse?" Vicky shouts. We all laugh. "I'm already here," I say, step out of the room and lock the door. "Okay, let's go," Vicky says and holds Alex hand. They walk ahead. "Hey, how are you?" Marc asks me and steps closer to me. He unexpectedly kisses me. On the lips. WHAAT??? I blush. "I'm great and you?" I ask him back. "Same," he answers and gives me a hand. Wait, what? To go out of hotel and holding hands? I smile foolishly and hold his hand. We twist our fingers and walk through Alex and Vic, who are already waiting for elevator. They are embraced. "Did I miss something?" I ask. Alex kisses Vicky on the forehead and answers: "Did I miss something?" and looks to our hands. I smile foolishly again. We enter the elevator. "Today I slept in Alex's room," Vicky says. "Alex's and Marc's room," Marc corrects her and laughs. "Slept?" I ask. Vicky nods, Alex blushes - really blushes. He's like ketchup - I'm not exaggerating. "Okay, I will not ask for details," I say, so that the shy Alex could not get more embarrassed. I look at Marc, who knows everything. Obviously. He nods to me and gently squeezes my hand. Yeah, I think that means confirming how Vic got sleepy in their room. "Where are we going?" I ask when we get to the lobby. I quickly fly over the whole space with my eyes, if I saw Sakis, but he is not here. I sigh with relief. "In the city center is a great restaurant. They recommended it at the reception," Marc says. "Yeah, and I also checked on the internet," Alex adds. His face is still little red.
We take a slow walk to the city center, we talk and laugh. "Where's Ben?" I ask. "Don't you remember that we talked yesterday about diving?" Marc replies and smiles. "Oh, you're right. He surely enjoys it," I say. "Yeah, but not as I do," he says and kisses me on the cheek. I am completely in love. "Here we are," Alex says when we get to cute restaurant with a large terrace. "Where will we sit?" Vicky asks. "I don't know where they booked us," Alex replies. "We have a reservation?" I ask. Marc smiles: "Yes, there are many guests at this hour." I look around the restaurant and see that all the tables are full. There are business people, rich families ... "Wow," we both with Vicky say at the same time. Guys laughed. "Good afternoon, can I help you?" We are greeted by nice older waiter. "Yes, we have a reservation on the surname Marquez," Alex nicely says. "Let me see. Yes, table 48. Step with me, please," he says. He escorts us to the table that is a little farther away from the rest. "Please, sit down. Should I bring something special for a drink?" he asks when we sat down. "Girls, what are you going to drink?" Marc asks. "Lemonade will be great," Vicky says and I nod. "Then bring the lemonade for all of us, please," Marc says. "Of course. Here you have a menu," waiter says nicely and leaves. "I don't even know what to eat. The choice is huge," Vicky says when she browses through the menu. "I already know what to eat. Pizza with seafood," I say and relax back to the chair. "The huge one," I add. We all laugh, when the waiter bring us lemonade. "Maybe you have already decided?" he asks. "Bring me a large seafood pizza, please," I say. "I would like a Greek salad with yoghurt dressing, please," Vicky orders and the waiter nods. "Oh, I can't decide," Alex says and stares at the menu. "I would like grilled calamari and fries, please," Marc says and Alex looks at him: "It's pretty fat, Marc." Marc laughs: "We're on vacation, Alex. Relax," Marc laughs and taps his back. "Well, you're right. I would like the same," Alex orders and we all laugh. While we wait for the food, we talk about different things. Soon we get each of our plate and we started to eat like we haven't eaten for a whole month. In the end we remain seated with empty plates. "It was delicious," Vicky says. "Yes, you're right," I say and guys agree. "Was it good?" waiter asks. "Perfect," we all say at the same time. "Thank you very much. We would like to treat you with dessert," waiter says, when two younger waiters bring us four lovely cups. "Frozen Greek yoghurt with strawberries. This is on the house. We are honored that our restaurant has chosen by very successful brothers and their girlfriends," waiter proudly says. Their girlfriends? Sounds nice. "Thank you very much," brothers thanked. Although we are all full, we rush on a dessert. "Vicky, ask for the recipe," I say when we eat. "Yeah, I should, right?" friend replies, "but I'm sure it's a secret."
"I am going to pay," Marc says and stands up. "I'll go with you," Alex says and the two of us left alone. "So, you and Alex are together now?" I ask. "Nothing official, yet. But we have a lot of fun, he is very sweet and attentive," she says and this time she blushes. "Vic, I can't believe! You're blushing?!" I laugh. "Oh, stop it," Vicky squeaks and hugs me. "What about you and Marc?" she asks. "We didn't go as far as you," I say and wink at her. "Not yet," she laughs. "When, if not now. You're on vacation," she adds. "You're right. We may never meet again," I say sadly. "Are you ready to go?" Alex asks when he steps to us. "Waiters wanted to photograph with us," Marc says. "Yeah and we got a discount," Alex adds.
We take a walk towards the hotel. Marc hugs me around my waist and we walk few steps against Vic and Alex. We suddenly hear screams. "O my God!! Look, Marc and Alex Marquez!!" We look to the right and we see a group of girls, walking to us.
"Can I take a photo with you?"
"Would you sign up on my bikini?"
"You're so gorgeous!"
"You're hot on TV but even hotter in live!"
"Can we kiss?"
"Okay, we'll leave you for a while," I say and pull Vicky with me. We sit on a bench and wait. Boys are patiently sharing autographs and photographing with them. "Alex is that your girlfriend?" one of the girls says and shows against us. On the far we can see that he blushes again. "Oh, look at your ketchup," I say and laugh. She blushes too. "Oh, god. I don't know if I still want to be a famous chef," she says and covers her face with hands. "Can we take a photo with them too?" again asks one of the girls. "Ava! Vicky!" Marc shouts. I stand up, I fix the dress and look at Vicky, who's still sitting. "Come on, Vicky. Stand up," I say. She shakes with her head: "No, I won't go." "Where is my brave Vicky?" I ask and laugh at her. "Fine," she says and stands up. We join our boys and their fans. "You're Marc's girlfriend, right? You're very pretty and you two look amazing together," girl with curly blonde hair says to me. "Umm, yeah. Actually," I look at Marc and he winks to me. "Thanks," I say to her. We take some photos, then we say goodbye to girls and walk to the hotel. "We're going at the beach party tonight, right?" Alex says. "Ava doesn't want to go," Vicky quickly says. "Why not?" Marc asks and hugs me. "Well, Sakis will be there," I say. "Well, I'll be there too," he says and squeezes me. "I know," I say quietly. "Okay, we're going," Alex smiles and hugs both of us. "Hey, what about me?" Vicky asks and joins us in our group hug.
