The rest of the day we all together spend at the poolside. I can see that Alex and Vicky every minute like each other more and more. "Where do you have lost the fourth member?" I ask, when I remember that they were saying something about four people. Marc, Alex and Ben are here, but where is the fourth? Guys look at each other. "Oh, it was my sister but already in Athens she was able to go back to Spain," Ben says. "Oh, it was something wrong?" I ask. "No, don't worry. Everything is perfect," Ben says and laughs. "Yeah, physically," Alex adds. They both laughs, but Marc takes a deep breath. "Marc, what if you put some sun cream on Ava's back? It seems to me that she gets some sunburn," Vicky suddenly says. Marc takes a look if it's true. "Oh, you're right. Your shoulders got a little red," he says. As we sit by the pool, he stands up first and gives me a hand to help me to stand up. "Anyway I have to go into the shade," I say and when I come to the deckchair, I lay down on stomach. He squats down to me. "Where's the cream?" he asks. "I think Vicky has it," I say and in that moment she throws it right on Marc's lap. "Nice throw," he yells to her and she waves to us. "As a child she played handball. In high school she found out that the sport is not for her," I say. "And what is she doing now?" he asks and starts to grease the cream on my shoulder. "She bakes cakes and writes recipes. One day she wants to make money with that. Her dad doesn't believe that she can make it," I say sadly. "What about her mom? She supports her?" he asks. "She probably would. She passed 3 years away," I say with tears in my eyes. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know," he starts to apologies. "It's fine. How you should know," I say absent-mindedly. In that moment I start to realize that his hands are touching me. It's gently caressing me and massaging my back. How I want to feel it in other parts. Ava, stop dreaming!! "Can you untie upper part of the bikini and put the cream there too, please," I say and wait what he'll do. He hold on for a little, but then I feel how neatly he untie the strings. I smile. He quietly grease that part of my back, too. When I look to the right I see Sakis. In that moment he looks towards us and suddenly bumps into the sunshade stand. I quickly lift up and cover my breasts. Marc gives me his T-shirt, I put wear it and I rushed to Sakis. He is bleeding from the forehead, but it's nothing serious. Ben rushes to us: "I am a medical student. Let me see how bad it is," he says when he starts to check-up his forehead. Vicky, Alex and Marc joins us. "Is everything okay?" Vicky asks. "Yeah, he's fine. Can you get some ice, please," Ben says. Vicky runs for ice to the outside bar. "I'm fine. Don't worry," Sakis says, but he's very pale. "You're totally pale," I say holding his hand. "I just can't stand blood," he admits. "Here is the ice," Vic shouts and gives it to Ben. "Do you have a doctor's office here nearby?" Ben asks. "Yes, it is in the basement," Sakis nods. "Fine, let's go there. I will clean the wound," Ben says. "Can you walk?" I ask Sakis. "We'll help," Alex says and nods to Marc. "I feel sick," Sakis says when he relies to the boys. They slowly help him to the doctor's office, me and Vicky are going behind them. "Do you think this happened because he saw you with Marc?" Vicky asks and I can see she is trying not to laugh. "I'm afraid that yes," I say and smile. We are standing in front of the doctor's office, when Alex and Marc step out. "And? How is he?" I ask. "He makes a mountain out of a molehill," Marc says, "it's nothing wrong." Alex laughs: "He'll need a nurse."
"Yeah, he'll get one somewhere," Marc says and folds his arms. Me and Vicky exchange looks. "I'll go to see him," I say and step into the doctor's office. Ben just puts a plaster over the wound. "You're okay now. Just leave it for a while then you can take it off. If is going to hurt you, take a pill," Ben says and walks to the door. "Thanks, Ben," Sakis thanks to him and Ben just smiles to him in greeting and leaves us alone. "How do you feel?" I ask and sit next to him. "Much better. I hit myself very well," he says and smiles. "You are not watching where you walk," I say. "I saw you and Marc...and you were without a bra," he says and looks at the floor. "Sakis...we made a little deal, remember? Don't be jealous," I say and stand up. "Ava," he says and stands too. He steps closer to me and hugs me from behind: "You're making me crazy," he says and starts kissing my neck. I try to escape, but he holds me too much. "Sakis, please, leave me," I say and I push him back. Unsuccessful. He slowly lifts my T-shirt. "Sakis, stop!" I shout and in that moment Marc walks in the room. "What do you not understand?" he says and pushed him away from me. "If she says to stop, then you do this! Come on Ava, let's go," he holds my hand and before we step out of the room, I look at Sakis. I can see, that he's sorry. "I invite you to drink," Marc says and I follow him to the bar. "Two lemonades, please," he orders. "Are you okay?" he asks worriedly. I nod. "Did he hurt you?" he asks again. Now I shook with my head. I don't look at his eyes. I'm ashamed again. Waiter brings us lemonades, so I grab my glass and start drinking. Just that I do not need to talk. Marc is sitting opposite me and watching me. I slowly raise the look and put the glass on the table. "Thanks," I say silently. Marc smiles and holds my hand: "You're welcome. I'll be always here for you." I smile back at him: "I don't understand why?" I ask. "Everything at the right time," he answers.
*VICTORIA*
I get out of the shower, when someone knocks at the door. I open it and there is an employee with a bouquet of flowers in his hands. "Are you Ava Garcia?" he asks. "No, I'm her friend," I answer. "Fine. Can you please give her the bouquet and a dedication? I apologize, goodbye," he says and leaves. I put this bouquet on the table and I was wondering who sent it. I get a message. It's Alex:
Marc saved Ava from Sakis. He was harassing her and he did not want to let her go. I don't know if it's good to have a dinner with him. If you see her, pretend that you don't know anything. She should tell you by herself. P.S: Don't worry, she's having a drink with Marc right now. See you, x"Whaaat??!" I say in astonishment and immediately open an envelope with a dedication. I read it: Ava, I am really sorry for what I did. It just drifted me. I would like to make it up with you, so I invite you to dinner at 9 o'clock in the evening in hotel's restaurant. I am really sorry. Sakis
I grab my phone and call Alex. "Yes?" he answered. "Hey, have you heard about abandoned warehouse?" I ask.
*AVA*
Me and Marc are still sitting in the bar. Recently, Alex comes to us, but he quickly left us. Probably he has plans with Victoria. Cold wind started to blow from the sea and the dark clouds are starting to cover the sky. In the distance we can hear thundering. "Ugh, it's seems to be a storm," I say looking in the sky. "Yeah, it's true," Marc says. "Thank you for everything," I say and get up from the table. "You're already going?" he asks. "Yeah, I would like to take a shower. Then I go to a dinner," I say. "Okay, then I'll see you at the dinner," he says and smiles. "Emm..., actually we don't," I say and step to my other foot, "I'm going with Sakis. Now he gets up too. "You're kidding, right?" I shake with my head: "No, I promised to him yesterday. Everything is going to be okay, Marc. Don't worry," I say and hug him. He squeezes me. "I'll be near to you," he says. "You really don't have to be," I reply, "thanks again. See you tomorrow." I turn around and go to the room. When I open the door, Victoria's not there. "Yep, she's with Alex," I say and step in the bathroom. I look myself to the mirror and I can see that I am still wearing Marc's T-shirt. I take it off and smell it. Ooh, his perfume. It's amazing. I take off the bottom of the bikini and step into the shower. I think about the day that I spent it in Marc's company. Then I remember that moment with Sakis and then again I think about Marc. I really don't blame Sakis, even though he really should stick to what we agreed. We are friends - nothing more, nothing less. I can understand that I am attractive to him. Marc attracts me, but I still don't undress and grope him. Although I really want to do it, or that he does it to me. OK, Ava. It's enough. I get out of the shower, wipe myself and dress a bathrobe. I walk to the suitcase and I am thinking what I am going to wear for a dinner. I hear a strong thunderstorm, so I just flinch. I decide to wear a short black dress and a sandals. I do my hair in a bun and do a gently make up. It's only a friendly dinner so don't exaggerate. I decide to walk to the reception, if Sakis left me any notification. I just walk to nice receptionist, when my phone starts to ring. It's Victoria. "Hello," I answer. "Ava, please help. I got lost," Vicky says desperately on the other side. "What? How? Why? Where? You're not with Alex?" I ask. "Yeah, we should met but it's starts to rain and the lightning and thunder and...So I went under the roof and now I am lost," she says. Something interrupts. "Vic, I hear you very bad. Do you know where are you?" I ask. "Yeah, it's an abandoned warehouse," she says. A warehouse? Where the hell she founds abandoned warehouse in this island??? "I'm at the reception. I'll ask if they know where is this, okay? I'll be right there. Stay where you are," I say and hang up. "Miss, can you tell me please where is an abandoned warehouse?" I ask. She gives me a weird look: "It is not in use for many years. I don't know if you should go there," she answers. "Look, it's urgent," I resist. "Fine. It's two minutes' walk from here. You have to go across the yard and through a narrow path between a park and parking. This is an old warehouse for ships and boats," she explains. I nod. "But, miss, I think that it is not safe to go there in that moment. It's an storm outside," she says worriedly. "It is urgent. Thank you. If Sakis will look for me, tell him that I am there," I say and run to help my friend. I run across the yard and through the park. It's no one outside. It's only me - running against the storm as a chicken without a head. Fortunately the whole path is lit by the street lamps, although they are not very helpful, because half of them do not work. Strong thunder - again! "F*ck, Vicky. Where do you nuzzled in this weather," I say and run by the path. Soon I see a building. "This is it," I say and open the big door and walk in. "Victoria!!" I shout, "I'm here!" No response. "Vicky, where are you??!" I shout again. I walk through the warehouse and on the wall I see the light switch. I turn it on. In front of me I see full of old, useless boats and small ships. "Victoria, where are you?!" I shout again. "Please, are you okay?? Answer me." Thunder, again. I take a look at my phone and I can see that I have only 10 % of battery. Great! I call Victoria, but she don't answer. I become afraid, what if something happened to her. "Ava?!" I hear the voice. But it's not Vicky. I turn around and I see Marc. "Ava, are you okay?" he asks and hugs me. "Yeah, why? I am looking for Vicky," I say when I hug him back. "Vicky? I saw her with Alex few minutes ago," he says. "What?? She called me that she got lost in this warehouse, so I came here to save her. Actually I should be on a dinner," I say. "They say that they can't find you. We ask a receptionist for you and she says that you went here," Marc explains. "I don't understand anything anymore," I say, when the lightning flashes and thunders. At that moment the door slams and the lights turns off. "Sh*t," we both shout. Marc runs to the door to opens it, but unsuccessfully. He looks at me: "It looks like we're trapped."
