The three animatronics stared at Tucker in shock.
"What the hell?" Sam whispered. Dani looked torn between hugging Tucker and staying where she was. Fire was gritting her teeth and tapping her foot nervously while Phantom was still in shock.
Tucker narrowed his eyes slightly as he got up and leaned in close to the golden bear's face, "Danny?"
The man in question grinned, "It's me." He said with a chuckle.
The dark skinned man looked at Fire and, just to test his theory, he said, "Xena Loki?"
Her eyes immediately burned red, "How many times have I told you not to call me that you prick!? My name is Fire Wolf!" After a second she blinked in confusion.
Tucker laughed, "Yep, it's you." He frowned in thought, "How did you end up as an animatronic? All of you. I remember that I stopped seeing Fire when I was 7. Then Phantom disappeared when I was 8. Sam was gone by the time I turned 10 and Dani disappeared a few months after my 11th birthday."
They all froze at the confession and Phantom looked down at his hands, flexing his fingers and hearing the pistons fire inside of him.
Fire absently moved her fingers too as she said, "We don't know. We didn't even know that we were anything else until you said something..." Her silver eyes glazed over as she thought.
Then, her anger flared as her eyes flashed red, "That son of a bitch!" She spun around and punched a dent into the wall, startling everyone.
Sam's eyes widened and her wings twitched, "Oh, I get it now..."
Phantom and Dani looked confused before realization dawned on them too.
"Vlad..." The mouse animatronic snarled.
Fire ground her metal teeth together, making a small screeching noise, "I came here when I was eight years old. The lady from the orphanage that was watching me didn't give a fuck about where I went. It was closing time, but I managed to sneak in."
Slowly, her ears fell down and a snarl spread across her lips, "I remember hearing a low hissing sound, then, I saw bright red eyes and snake fangs before everything went black. After that, I remember being forced to play with kids and roam around the restaurant."
The wolf chuckled darkly a thin red veil covered her irises, "Well, that was before I bit a kid's hand and he ended up needing to get it amputated or something like that."
Danny looked at her fearfully, "When was that?"
Fire shrugged, the veil not disappearing, "I think it was..." She trailed off as her eyes widened in slight horror as the red was suddenly just switched off.
"Phantom, please don't rip my head off." She said seriously.
The white haired animatronic furrowed his brow, "Why would I-?" He cut himself off and threw her a light glare.
"You bit me?!" He yelled.
Fire winced, "I didn't know we were friends! Besides, you yanked on my tail and nearly made me fall on someone! I only meant to snap at you, not take your hand...or cause this." Dani got in between them so Phantom wouldn't start trying to electrocute Fire and so that if Fire shot ice cream out of her hand then she would be there to get it. Then, there was also the fact that Dani didn't want the wolf to burn Phantom to a crisp along with everyone else in the room.
The ghost growled at the wolf while Sam rolled her eyes and said, "The last thing I remember is basically what Fire said." The red head huffed indignantly at something Phantom hissed at her and replied in an equally low tone.
"I saw red eyes, snake scales, and felt an amazing amount of pain before I was suddenly an animatronic." She explained.
Danny furrowed his brow, "This still doesn't add up somehow. Vlad didn't know how to make people into animatronics so who does?"
The screens on the desk flickered to life, "That would be me sweetie!"
They all looked over and Tucker cried out, "Why me!?" Dani snickered despite the situation they were in.
The power went out completely and everything went black.
