Danny groaned, feeling someone shaking him, "Go away Jazz..." He muttered.
"Danny! Wake up!" He heard someone that was definitely not Jazz shout. His blue eyes snapped open and he sat up, nearly head butting the person there, or rather, animatronic that was there.
Slowly, his vision cleared and he blinked in confusion.
Fire was standing there looking like she wanted to rip him a new one while Phantom, Sam, and Dani looked more worried than angry.
"What happened? Where's Tucker?" He asked, rubbing his head.
Fire knelt down to his level and snarled, "You almost ran out of power! That's what happened! That bitch may have shut us down, but damn did you need it!"
Phantom set a hand on her shoulder, "Fire, come on, he didn't know-"
The wolf spun around, "Like you don't know that you have a crush on him? It's easy to see! Open your damn eyes!"
He recoiled and looked at her in wide eyed shock as she continued to yell, "You have had a crush on him since you were old enough to! You two were too young to get it at the time, but seriously! You remember most things now! Maddie made sure of that!"
Maddie...that rang a bell to Danny.
The raven haired man looked at Fire and asked, "Who's Maddie?"
The wolf stopped her rant and looked down at him, "Maddie is your mother."
Sam stepped toward him and put a hand on his shoulder while using her wing to rub his back, "I flew Tucker back to his house a half hour ago. I'm guessing you unconsciously ordered me to do it though."
She took a deep breath,"Danny, I'm pretty sure it's obvious by now, but you're an animatronic. Maddie made you differently though. You run off of food and water. You get energy from that and the sun, but your system has a flaw in it."
He looked confused so Dani helped clarify, "You need to be in sleep mode for at least 7 to 8 hours. Maybe 6 if you're outside all day and eat a lot of food."
His blue eyes widened slightly, "I haven't slept since the day before yesterday." He muttered.
The ghost animatronic had to hold the wolf back to keep her from ripping the golden bear apart.
Sam's wings twitched in shock, but she let nothing show on her face, "Danny, you need to get more sleep."
The room they were in came to life. Monitors lit up and computer systems booted up.
They all stiffened and Danny quickly scrambled to his feet, eyes glowing gold in silent warning. The purple eyed animatronic stopped kneeling and stood up ram rod straight.
"Danny...stop it..." Dani whined, her tail thrashing back and forth while her eyes flickered to black for a second.
The man in question shook his head, "I don't know how." He saw a shadow race across the room, but dismissed it as a trick of the light. Though he briefly wondered what the flash of white stripes was...
"Sweetie, release the other animatronics." Maddie's voice rang out.
Fire's eyes glowed red as she snapped her jaws at the computers, "Shut up!" She yelled, pointing the flame throwers built into her hands at the moniters.
"No, I think you're forgetting who has more control here..." she said in a reprimanding tone.
Obviously she tried to do something because the woman sounded confused, "What? Why..?"
The wolf growled at her, "I think you forget who became a machine first and underestimated just how much time I had to myself."
Phantom was the second to cave in, wanting to protect Danny. His green eyes were engulfed with black and a crazed grin spread across his face. Blades slid out of the palms of his hands and he twirled them before gripping the hilt in a tight grasp.
His laugh echoed throughout the room, causing Dani to shiver and Sam to cringe.
Maddie was undeterred, "Danny, sweetie, just calm down and let me explain."
He growled angrily as his gold eyes turned black for a moment, "Explain what!?"
The wolf and ghost reeled back with a gasp, both of them cursing while Phantom's knives dropped to the floor with a short clatter.
"There, that's better! Now, let me tell you a story-"
"Will you stop playing these stupid games and just tell us what the fuck is going on!?" Sam screetched.
Everything went silent for a moment before Maddie made an odd noise, "It's rude to interupt."
The black haired animatronic stiffened before going slack, her head falling forward slightly while her eyes went blank.
Fire snarled something under her breath and walked over to the other animatronic. She blew steam out of her nose and moved behind her, opening up a plate and fiddling with the wires.
"Don't mind me, just doing an override I found out about." She waved off the boys and Dani.
"Now, as I was saying," Maddie continued, "Jack, your father, created an animatronic after his best friend Vlad who died from an accident with the animatronic he was working on. We were going to run the pizzeria together, all three of us."
Danny felt a little buzzing in the back of his head, but pushed it aside when he felt Phantom's hand grip his.
"Jack was my husband, but we got divorced when the Vlad animatronic killed you. We still worked together here, but we never spoke to each other after that. He knew there was a problem with Vlad, but he didn't fix it in time. I hate him for that!"
The lights flickered and Fire growled, "Hey! I'm trying to work here you scrap metal idiot!"
Maddie hissed something about 'stupid mutt', but stopped the flickering the lights as she spoke, "Jack was an idiot! He still is. That oaf never even knew I created you, Danny, but something went wrong the day I went to turn you on."
Phantom snorted at the wording while Danny elbowed him and Dani said, "Oh, she turned you on."
Fire's shoulders shook as she worked on getting Sam powered up again, "Damn it! I almost had it!"
The man in question cleared his throat, "What happened?"
Maddie hummed lightly, "A memory circuit was damaged. When I went to fix it I was electrocuted and my soul was forced into the computer system. Jazz came in and took you away after she called the police. If I know your sister, Danny, then I know she would never have told you about what happened."
The door to the computer room opened and a shadowy figure stepped into the room, "You're right."
