Hey guys, gals and non-binary pals (thanks Thomas). Who's ready for another chapter?! But before we get started... I almost forgot... I owe a shout out to Vanguard16 because she figured out the A1Z26 Cipher in the previous book! I feel overly proud right now xD. But go follow her!! She has lots of awesome stories! Now onto the story...

Bill's POV

"King Cipher has returned!"

I opened my eyes to reveal the crowd of monsters and demons before me. All were staring with wide eyes, screaming my name. If it were old times I would've felt overjoyed, but I didn't want to be here, not anymore.

"Cipher! Cipher! Cipher! Ciph-"

"SILENCE!" I boomed.

The crowd fell to a low whisper until it was silent.

"Who summoned me here?!" I yelled, "who dare take me from my peace in another dimension?"

I was trying to be forceful, but I had lost many of my cruel ways years ago. I found something better, a family, but now I was stuck here, again, to rule over the nightmare realm.

"It was I, sir," Eight Ball stepped from the crowd and walked toward me, as I sat in my old throne.

"What for?" I asked, my voice calming.

"Our kingdom is falling. We have no order without a ruler, such as you. That is why the council decided to call upon you. You've been gone for years too many. Tell me Cipher, have you fallen for a mortal?"

My eye widened. They shouldn't have known this, couldn't have even.

"I shall not be questioned in my own kingdom!" I roared, "and even so, I have fallen for a mortal. But of course you already knew that."

"What has our king become?" Someone in the crowd yelled.

"He is unfit to lead us!"

I glared towards the many faces below me. They were certainly right, I was unfit to lead them. I didn't want to lead them. I wanted to go home.

"This is your home, Cipher."

"Not anymore, it isn't."

"I see. I hereby denounce Bill Cipher as the King of the Nightmare Realm!" Eight Ball yelled.

"You cannot do that," I said plainly.

"Oh, but I think I can."

Mabel's POV

I rolled my portable tank, a very valuable invention Soos made, into the living room where Dipper lay on the couch.

"Dipper?" I whispered into the silence.

He didn't answer. Rolling over to him, I saw his eyes were glossy and his face pale. Not even a rosy tint lingered on his cheeks.

"Dipper?" I called again, this time louder.

His head finally snapped in my direction. He looked at me for a long while before speaking.
