Bill's POV

"Did you hear that?" Ford asked, motioning for me to stop with his paw.

I stopped abruptly, looking toward him. Ford's tail instantly stopped twitching, and I watched as his ears shifted swiftly from left to right.

"What is it?" I whispered. "Did you find Clover?"

Ford nodded and only motioned for me to follow him. Even though he was walking extremely slow, I made sure I walked slower, so I didn't set off the anomaly detector, again.

We came upon another shack, this one though was much bigger, less rickety, and could have probably fit an elephant inside.

Ford turned off the anomaly detector, and shoved it back into one of his many coat pockets. I walked forward and pushed open the door revealing a dark room. In the corner sat a small little figure, but in the darkness it looked only like a shadow.

"Clover!" I whisper-yelled.

Please let it be Clover. Please let it be my baby girl!

The figure shuffled forward, closer to the light, revealing Clover's tear stained face.

Thank goodness!

"Clover," I whispered. "Come here!"

Oh lord please let her use her inside voice! Please let her-

"DADDY!!!" Clover screamed, running forward into my arms, and burying her face in my tail coat.

Dammit Clover!

I looked around, intently waiting for whoever took Clover to attack, but instead I was met with silence. My eyes landed on a note on the floor. I picked it up and read it aloud.

"Dear man in yellow, I knew you would be coming for your Satan spawn, and I was prepared to attack you, but I cannot handle this child anymore! She is the devil! Just take her an leave!"

I laughed loudly, and Clover giggled guiltily as her teeth chattered. Not a hair on her head or a fur on her flank was out of place. I guess she did more damage to the Hunter than he to her.

"What did you do to make him leave?" I asked Clover, opening my tailcoat and wrapping it around her.

"I screamed and cried and screamed and cried and screamed again," Clover laughed. "And I also started bucking at him. He was a funny man."

"You have quite the child," Ford sighed.

"Great Grunkle Ford!" Clover screamed, squirming out of my grasp to go to him.

So much for getting her warm.

I rolled my eyes, and let her run to Ford. She hopped up excitedly into his arms and snuggled into his jacket.

Clover you're supposed to snuggle with me not Sixer!

Again I rolled my eyes watching them laughing at whatever they were talking about. The three of us left the little shack and began walking through the forest back to the cabin.

Dipper's POV

"Will, stop kicking me!" I yelled for the fifth time in the last three minutes. "Why do you have to be so difficult!? You better not be like this when you're–"

Another contraction caused me to gasp in pain and clutch my stomach tightly. Will finally stopped kicking, giving me a few seconds of peace, but instead the contractions were getting stronger.

Not even a minute later another contraction made me cry out in pain. I squeezed the couch tightly and shut my eyes, but it didn't nothing to stop the pain.

"Gagh! Bill hurry up please! I don't think I can– GAGH! Bill!" I screamed out, trying not
To fall off the couch.

The pain was so immense I could barely keep my eyes open. Overall it made me feel horribly drowsy and exhausted, and before I realized it I had blacked out on the couch.

"Shhhhh it's okay! Will, don't cry. Daddy will be fine he's just sleeping. Shhhh it's okay."

The sound of a baby crying and Bill's voice caused me to open my eyes suddenly and look around. Bill stood in front of me carrying a little blue bundle of blankets. Orion and Clover, who were strangely quiet, sat together on the chair across from me watching intently.

Standing up, I almost fell over due to my unaccustomed lightness. It had been so long since I hadn't been pregnant. If Bill ever did that to me again I would kill him.

I ran forward and wrapped my arms around Clover, hugging her tightly.

"I'm so glad you're okay! I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt."

"Luckily, Clover hurt him more than he hurt her. Clover bothered him so much he left." Bill laughed quietly.

I stood again and walked over to Bill. Will had finally fallen asleep and was sucking on his own thumb. Reaching out, I took Will from him and rocked him in my arms.

"His hair is blue!?" I gasped. "How is that possible?"

"How is anything possible?" Bill laughed. "I guess he's just a little miracle."

"More like a little nuisance," I muttered. "He kicked me all day!"

"Oh you're fine Pine Tree. I wasn't gone for too long. I saved Clover and came back for you. Pine Tree, you know I'll never leave you, right?"

"I know," I breathed.

Bill kissed my lips softly causing Clover and Orion to make gagging sounds and "ewww" loudly.

"I'll never leave you."
