"Each of us is born with a box of matches inside us but we can't strike them all by ourselves." - Laura Esquivel, Like Water for Chocolate*3 months later*
Sakura just got out from her hospital shift. It was already dark outside but the streets still kind of crowded. People were laughing and having a nice time while the weather was still warm.
She started walking towards her home, she wasn't tired at all so she thought about maybe she could pay a visit to her boyfriend.
Yes, she and Naruto were dating for 2 months. Of course, she still only loved him as a good friend but perhaps she tried to convince herself that she didn't have feelimgs for Itachi. Her chest clentched everytime when they kissed, feeling that she is betraying the older Uchiha. Yet, she didn't know why she cared. He only used her and threw her away. That's it. Not like she will get a beautiful love story with a happy ending, not when a dangerous criminal is involved. She was crazy for even thinking about it. Still... her body craved his touches, his wet lips on her skin, his raspy voice, his... moans. He was the total opposite of Naruto who was innocent and dumb. The blond doesn't even think about those things and she doesn't know if that makes her feel happy or disappointed.
"Hey, Sakura-chan!" Naruto waved at her from a cafeteria. She waved back as her steps carried to him. He wore a pink blush on his cheeks. Even after 2 months he was still shy around her.
She took the seat next to her boyfriend, ignoring the two creepy men next to her who were wearing black cloaks with their hoods over their heads which hid their identity. They may be dangerous, but she really needed a break from the stress.
Naruto scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "So Sakura-chan..." she grabbed his collar, pulling him into a passional kiss. His face was so red that she thought he will explode.
The man next to her, gripped tight the edge of the wooden table, gritting his teeth in annoyance.
The couple started talking nonsense as the time passed by. It was almost midnight and the two creepy men left a long time ago, one of them having a dangerous aura around him. The pinkette paid no mind. She was happy to be with her boyfriend.
Naruto offered to take her home just in case, to be safe. She agreed. It was incredible how strong Naruto became and now she really felt safe with him.
They stopped in front of her apartment.
"I had fun tonight, Sakura-chan." he avoided her gaze, being embarassed.
"So did I. Well, how about a sparing tomorrow?"
"Count on me, dattebayo!" he gave her his big grin. "See you tomorrow!" he waved, starting to walk away. She smiled to herself.
A black crow flew behind her, making her jump sightly. It landed on the roof of her apartment, watching her intensly with it's red eyes. She narrowed her eyes.
It flew away and the curiosity was eating her alive so she started following it. It led her outside the gates of the village, near the river. The only sound that could be heared was the water and the calming sound of birds. She inhaled the fresh air.
Leaning on a tree, a shadow was watching her while playing with a kunai, bloody red eyes piercing through her figure. She was so beautiful in the moonlight, he observed. With silent steps, the shadow approached her.
He put his hand on her mouth while the other held her body pressed to his.
"Don't be scared." he whispered into her ear, sending shivers down her spine. He took a step back from her, letting her turn around to face her. She narrowed her eyes.
