Scara's pov

About two hours into the party, I have finally met and had a brief conversation with everyone in the room. I have met like every classic Disney character that instantly comes to my mind.

They all for the most part offered their condolences for my death, which I shook off as it simply being "over now" and that "I've moved past it."

And then there was Archie who offered a therapy session if I ever needed it.

I've even had a couple people question me and Chris' relationship. Each time, I quickly explained that we were in fact dating and have been officially proclaimed true love.

I finally get done talking to the group to see my actual family and my business family mingled together, talking and laughing amongst themselves.

I smile at the sight I never imagined I would ever see.

I walk towards them, Rossi sees I'm coming over and gets a wide mischievous smile.

Oh no.

"I still think one of the best Scara Rose stories was when Chris first introduced her to sour neon gummy worms," Rossi says, changing their previous subject.

The entire team bursts into uncontrollable laughter, as my family laughs at their reactions.

"Okay, this is a story I have to hear," Emma laughs.

I just roll my eyes at this. The team just loves to pick on me, and my little knowledge of things from the 'modern world.'

"Ok so," Morgan starts, getting dramatic with his hand gestures, causing us to laugh again, "when Scara came to the FBI, she wasn't, how do I put this, 'caught up' in modern things. She knew some things like modern weapons, but when it came to ice cream, junk food, video games, stuff like that, she was clueless."

"When we learned this," Reid continues, "the team and Chris took turns introducing her to stuff. Morgan and Rossi taught her to play video games; JJ introduced her to Cheetos..."

"Hey," JJ says defensively, as we laugh at her reaction.

"We all showed her things," Hotch continues, "but when Chris brought her those gummy worms, it was game over.

"Hey," I say, getting their attention, "don't insult my babies."

They all laugh at my statement as I feel two arms gently wrap around my waist, and a head plop onto one of my shoulders.

"So what's going on?" Chris asks.

"We were just retelling the story of Scara and her sour gummy worms," Reid states with a chuckle.

"Oh that reminds me," Chris says, reaching into the inside pocket of his jacket

I've noticed that he hasn't worn the jeans jacket since the night I came back. He's been wearing a different jeans jacket that's a darker wash. It really brings out his eyes and hair.

Chris pulls out a familiar blue bag out of his pocket that has the Trolls logo at the top, and he hands them to me. I quickly open it, as everyone laughs.

YES!

"When did you get these?"

"On the last case when you and Morgan went to investigate the crash site. I went to the vending machine at the police station and got some. I meant to give them to you earlier, but I forgot."

By the time Chris is done explaining I have already popped a red and blue gummy worm in my mouth, savoring the taste. Candy doesn't exist in the Underworld, so I haven't had any for two years.

Everyone continues to laugh as we all sit down at our usual booth and table attached to the end. As a joke, Morgan jokingly tries to steal one of my gummy worms. I quickly slap his hand away.

"Mine," I jokingly whine at him.

We all laugh again. Henry, who is sitting near me, glances down at his phone for a quick moment.

Dang, it's already 7 pm.

I notice everyone is sitting down at a booth or one of the tables Granny and Red just brought back in. Granny gets on the stage and speaks into one of the microphones.

I eat one more gummy worm, and then put the bag in my pocket.

"'Cawa," Neal whines, as the table laughs and passes the baby to me.

"When we were planning the entertainment, we got an anonymous request for karaoke."

I dramatically turn my head to Henry, who is blushing while giving me a wide smile.

"So for your enjoyment, we have a karaoke machine, mics, headsets, everything."

"What about a screen for the words?" Leroy, aka Grumpy the dwarf, snares.

Regina rolls her eyes and waves her hand. A screen and playing system appear behind Granny on the stage. My parents, and sister give Regina a 'really' look.

"What?" she asks innocently, "he was complaining, so I fixed the problem."

"So who would like to go first?"

I squeeze my eyes closed. My family and team are most likely going to make me go first.

"Derek Morgan would like to volunteer," Reid blurts with a mischievous smile.
