Scara's pov

By the time I finish the song, both me and Grubbs have tears streaming down our faces. He drops the knife, and Morgan goes to arrest him.

"Thank you," Grubbs says.

I don't respond to him, as I am getting my emotions under control. Morgan hands Grubbs off to Adams, and he and his officers leave the room. I begin to feel a tingling sensation my hands.

Wait, I know that feeling, it's magic.

As soon as I recognize the feeling, it disappears. Huh, I must have imagined it.

Chris rushes into the room and gazes around frantically until his eyes fall on me. As soon as he sees my tear stained cheeks, he quickly takes me in his arms.

"Are you okay?"

"I am now."

I give him a genuine smile and he returns it. Out of the corner, I see the rest of the team leave the shed.

I try to follow them, but Chris pulls me back into his arms and gently kisses my cheek.

"I love you."

"I love you too," I say back with a smile. It's as if the pain just disappeared, that happens a lot with Chris.

As we walk out of the shed hand in hand, something crosses my mind.

"That was weird timing to say that."

Chris stops and steps in front of me so that I can see his eyes, his beautiful, beautiful eyes.

"Well, I waited long enough to tell you before, so you better get used to it, because you're going to be hearing it a lot."

I chuckle at him as we get into the SUV.

"Hey guys, good job tonight," Hotch says on speaker phone, "it's nearly midnight, so we'll go to the motel Adams booked for us and then we'll head back to Storybrooke tomorrow."

I can't help the smile that comes across my face. The idea of going back to my family is a thought I will never get tired of.

The motel is only a few minutes up the road. I spend the entire way nearly curled up in Chris' arms. Just before Morgan stops the SUV, I let out a yawn.

Chris nearly has to drag me out of the car. This case has literally drained all my energy and I'm just waiting to get into bed.

"Alright," Hotch says, handing us all a room key, "everyone has their own rooms. I assigned a wakeup call for everyone at 10 am. We'll eat at 11 in the lobby around the corner, and then head back to Storybrooke."

We all nod, grab our 'go bags,' and head to our rooms. Me and Chris' rooms are right next to each other. Chris walks me up to my door.

"Brings back a few memories doesn't it," Chris says, referring to the times after our dates when he would walk me home.

"Yes it does," I say in a small voice.

"You want me to stay?" Chris asks.

"Do you mind?"

"Never," Chris says with a confident smile then growing a little nervous, "I would love it."

"Then it's settled," I state as I open the door.

We throw our bags on the table and begin to rummage through them.

"I'm gonna go change in the bathroom," Chris says, before lightly kissing me.

"I'll be here," I say with a smile.

He disappears into the bathroom, and I quickly get dressed.
