Yuna raised an eyebrow immediatly apon walking into Xavier's quarters.
"Should I ask why my schedule is suddenly cleared, amid an ominous request for me to visit you?" She asked, placing her hand on her hip. He smirked slightly and shrugged. Yuna glanced up as he walked to her. He made blood roar through her veins like dragons. The witch murmured softly as he brushed his lips along hers, struggling to keep her composure.
"You owe me a dance," Xavier told her. Yuna smiled lightly and took his hands, slipping him the faux evidence she had created. He casually placed it in his desk and sighed. "Always buisness first, aren't you, love?"
"How can you be so calm knowing there's a girl who could kill us all at any moment strolling these walls?" Yuna asked him.
"Clearly, I have a plan," Xavier said. He sat on the creaky desk, smiling slightly at her. "Which I would love to discuss with you over a glass of finer wine."
"What are you plotting now?" The witch asked as she walked around the room. Xavier's quarters were abnormally clean. Nothing was out of place, and no dust blanketed the furniture. The only thing that had changed was that he had aquired two dining chairs along with a small table, cramming them against the window. As if he had arranged it.
"All I need is a sleeping potion, and Adelaide's hellspawn will be gone from the world in one night," Xavier told her. His fingers drummed on the desk casually before he raked them through his hair. Confident, arrogant, sexy. He still stunned her with his dark form of beauty.
"Why would you need that?" Yuna questioned as she tugged a book from his shelf. She flipped it open and skimmed the pages, watching them glow like embers in the crisp morning light. A book about a dead queen stealing her daughter's young body. How very interesting, and notable. She'd have to sneak back here to read it another time.
"The prince has offered to off her for us."
Yuna turned and raised a dark eyebrow. Was the crown prince so bored with his new bride already?
"Prince Jason?"
"No, Prince Tobias. It seems that this is not the first time he's taken care of a girl his brother loved," Xavier explained. Yuna chewed her lip.
She'd heard the rumors that flew like insects apon the royal sibling's return. Prince Tobias had assaulted a nobleman's daughter sexually, then tossed her out a castle window. The servants hissed about it behind his back continuously. Of course he would be eager to repeat his actions on the new girl his older brother was infatuated with.
"How would we slip the potion to her if I did make it?" Yuna asked. "She has almost as many tasters than the royal family themselves, along with the servants being dismissed repeatedly from her rooms."
"The servants are dismissed?" Xavier questioned, frowning.
"Yes. Bloody sheets come to the laundry, though," she said, continuing to turn the pages. "I assume the leech of a prince is enjoying his meal on a daily basis."
Xavier frowned slightly. Iris hadn't had a single mark on her, and that dress revealed quite a lot. Where was all the blood coming from, then?
"But the delivery? We would need some event beforehand," Yuna said as she snapped the book shut. She looked over at him and tilted her head at his smile.
"You'll just have to see what I have planned, won't you?" Xavier teased. Yuna rolled her eyes and smirked at him.
"I suppose I will."
