They were chasing her.

Her lungs strained and burned, gasping for breath as she ran through the trees. She cried out as she tripped over a branch, leaves biting into her hands. The wolves were on her in second, renting her flesh as she screamed for gods who wouldn't hear.

Iris woke up in terror, gasping. Her silver hair was sticky with sweat against her neck. She sat up in the bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

They had made it to a small town on Italy's new border and settled in for the night. Jason was in the bed across from her, banished. She was still angry at him despite forgiving him. Therefore, she was allowing him none of her for the time being.

Iris sat up and grabbed a few locks of her hair. The silvery sheen had remarkably faded, but she doubted it would ever return to the spectacular gold it had once been. It looked to be more of a platinum blonde now. She brushed it out, using the small inn mirror. Iris was just as uneasy about her eyes. The turquoise was strange to look at, even though it suited her greatly. She wanted her silver.

Jason stirred silghtly. He rolled over in the bed and looked at her with his hair sticking in about a thousand different directions. He smiled as he propped himself up.

"Good morning," he said. Jason moved to roll onto his stomach but stopped, checking underneath the blankets. He sighed heavily and looked up to her.

"Morning. What's wrong with you?" Iris asked. Jason coughed uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Just some morning... issues, I can take care of it," he told her. She raised an eyebrow and sat next to him, stubbornly nudging at his arm. Jason sighed heavily in response. "Don't worry about me. Where are we going next?"

"North. Now tell me what is wrong with you," Iris urged. She layed across him, resting her hands on his chest.

"It's just been a while since we've been in the same bed. I'm missing you," Jason finally blurted out. Iris glanced towards his hips and breathed out slightly.

"Oh..." she whispered. Her expression hardened again as she looked to him, deciding if she had completely forgiven him yet. Iris rested her cheek on her hand and ran a finger over his chest. "I'm not exactly sure that I'm not mad at you anymore."

Jason ran his fingers along her jaw and made puppy eyes at her. She glanced away, determined not to let him win that easily. He pulled her onto him gently and sat up. Iris closed her eyes as he nuzzled her neck. Her fingers gripped the sheets when he started pressing gentle kisses along her skin.

"Iris, I'll make it up to you, I promise, I'm sorry," Jason murmured. Iris closed her eyes, feeling him run his fingers down her back. They dipped into her pants, traveling to her front and tugging them down. "Please. I'll make you feel good."

She melted, burying her face into his neck and giving a soft moan. Jason nuzzled her silvery hair lovingly and kissed her cheek. His fingers slid down to her slit and dipped in. He drew a path up to her clit, beginning to press his thumb in small circles over the sensitive bud. Iris moaned against his neck. Jason shivered and huskily moaned into her ear. He began to slide one finger into her when she tensed, letting out a little choking sound and starting to shake.

Iris pawed at his hand, pushing his wrist away. She shifted back onto the edge of the bed quickly. The girl hugged her legs to her chest, burying her face in her knees. Trembling, she let out a sob. Again, she could feel the violation inside of her. She could feel the dripping, the icy chill cutting and slicing her legs. Iris curled further into a ball, crying quietly.

Jason shifted to her cautiously. He pressed his hands to her face, brushing tears from her eyes. Iris sobbed quietly and grabbed onto his hands. She whimpered out his name softly. Her husband pet her hair back gently, brows furrowed with concern.
