Monty Greene is a very energetic character who cares for his friends so much he would do anything for them. His best friend is Jasper Jordan and his girlfriend Is Harper McIntyre. His job role on the ark was as an engineer.

Ever since the first season Monty has played a huge role in his character and has been important. Monty is also one of the original 100. He was put in prison because he stole hurbs from the ark garden along with jasper Jordan his best friend.

While on Earth Monty struggles to cope as him and his group are being held prisoners all over again in a place called Mount Weather. Mount Weather decides to tear and build different relationships between the group. For example Monty and Jasper now hate Clarke.

In season 3 Monty Greene decides to become part of the guard unit in Arkadia to make sure rules are obeyed and everyone stayed in order. After Monty becomes part of the guard unit a new chancellor is selected, Charles Pike. Within a couple of days Monty became one of Pike's best trusted guards until he turned against him for the murder of Lincoln.
