Till the End

chapter 2 ~ wrong place,wrong time

This was it. Kelly thought to her self. They were really here, we were on Earth and its survivable. The soil is perfectly soft to grow vegetables and flowers still shimmered in the light.

The whole best thing about this was it was just them, peace and quiet. Well except for the birds chirping and singing but that was relaxing. There is life on the planet and they've excepted us. The first people on the ground in 97 years.

Kelly averted her eyes to the blonde, all she was doing was being moody and stressing like did that girl ever give herself a break.

"Hey Kelly I'm going to go check this out with jasper are you going to be okay on your own?" He asked rubbing his thumb over her hand slightly.

She thought this was the perfect time to pull a prank.

"Wow your first day on earth and you don't want to spend some of it with me, thanks best friend!" Kelly said emphasizing the word best friend pretending to glare at him.

"No no no I wasn't saying that, I'll stay if you want, oh god I'm so so so-" he panicked frankly it made Kelly laugh.

"I'm kidding!" She shouted bursting into fits of laughter watching Monty to go and explore.

Kelly watched the blonde pacing and for some reason it made her laugh. Then Finn who everyone now calls space walker jumped down from the top of the dropship.

It seemed that when kelly was so busy watching the blonde that she didn't even notice the fight between two other prisoners. Murphy and Wells.

She was right by Finn after he split up the fight and heard Octavia walk past and comment.

"You can save me next space walker." She was obviously flirting with him.

He laughed before turning to me. Why was he facing me? Hardly anyone has even noticed me since we got here except Monty and Jasper. Kelly quietly said to herself.

"Hey kelly" he smiled, ERM why is he talking to me exactly?? Kelly thought to herself.

"Hi Finn" kelly replied with no emotion.

"See the blonde over there talking to Bellamy?" He questioned. Kelly slowly nodded.

"Can I tell you something?" Kelly nodded her head yet again.

"Well she says the ark has dropped us on the wrong dam mountain and there is a radiation source stopping us from our next meal, so some of us are heading out and I was wondering if you wanted to come with us?" Finn asked Kelly.

"Sure thing, who's going?" Kelly asked smirking.

"Well its me, you, Clarke, Octavia, Monty, jasper and Amy"

"Okay cool let me get my stuff" she smiled.

Kelly walked back onto the dropship packing her water bottle in her pretty much empty rucksack. As she walked out she smiled knowing this was her new home and she was free.

She walked over to the group and straight out of the brown log made door. She smiled it was earth, but then frowened realising there was probably no animals due to the radiation.

That's when she saw it, a deer.Maybe there was animal life that survived here after all. She kneeled down onto the dry soil with her ripped blue jeans. She grinned like a child before turning to the others nothing the word, "shh" to them then pointing back at the deer.

As finn got closer he trod on a stick causing it to snap and the deer to look at the small group. There smiles soon turn to a face of horror as they see half of the deer's face radiated. Well there goes the food.

"Seriously a twig snap" Kelly and the others turned around to see a pretty relieving sight.
Alice.

Alice had long brown hair and a fringe that reached her eyebrows. From what I found out she had a crush on jasper and jasper liked Octavia.
Love triangle much.

"Who the hell are you?" She asked rudely.

"Your worst nightmare" Alice said in a jokey tone also attempting not to laugh.

Octavia kept off of the spot she was in on the grass and marched towards Alice. Everybody already had a feeling that Octavia was going to start it but nobody got involved because they were all scared of Bellamy.
But Kelly wasn't.

Everybody was walking a bit away from each other to stop anything, which meant Octavia and Alice. Who knew that the sweet little girl who hid under the floor could be so bitchy about everything.

They got to the end of how far they could go. There was a lake running through the next path they needed to get to. It was sad because none of them knew how to swim, but then again how could you when you lived in space and the world is radiated.

Everyone exchanged worried looks but then all stood and glanced towards Clarke giving her the look of, 'what we gonna do now huh'. Everybody did this because Clarke was the one who led us here.

"I've got an idea" Finn said aloud. Jasper followed Finn up the step and watched as Finn made this type of swing from branches and twigs. He was about to go for it when jasper interrupted.

"Can I go" he whispered nervously.

"Sure thing and you've got this buddy" he reassured jasper.

Jasper smiled at Alice before wrapping his arms and holding onto the swing before taking a quick run up and jumping.

Once he made it to the other side everybody started cheering. Then it was Alice's go, she did the same thing but instead of landing on the ground she landed in jaspers arms.

They both stood up laughing together as we cheered even more. Kelly waited and watched as jasper walked near a tree and picked up a sign. He waved it in the air and it read 'mount weather' on it.

Kelly smiled and laughed but soon cried in pain in Monty's hold while she watched jasper get a spear through his chest sending him flying. Jasper spoke loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Wrong place wrong time" he spoke before all you could hear was the cries.

"Were not alone anymore" Clarke whispers.
