The Thoughts
Aj MabuyaoHe's there, but cannot be seen.
He's there, sitting like a dean.
Quietly looking at her gaze,
Badly longing to touch her face. She's there, facing him with fear.
She's there, standing with tears.
Gallingly wants to punch him,
But, fears occupy—
Then longing says goodbye. He's there, wants to get her back.
He's there, yet afraid to be rejected.
Odious, keen, abject, he's hopeless—dejected.
And anxiously, others will have her."I love you" she said at the back of her mind,
But thoughts keep ruining her kind,
She stepped closer,
Reminiscing their moments together. He stepped closer,
She's near—
He's almost there,
"I wish we could be forever," they said in chorus. They love the moment,
As they kiss, what ifs slipped into their minds,
And they departed,
Fear transpired;
And forever could be no more.
