Is there Sunshine, where you are?
by Jack Solano

The bright horizon we once walked
Is now broken apart, seems to be empty at all
The sound of silence is deafening, I can't barely hear my own voice
The days gone bye and still, I remember you
The time when we used to roam the streets together
To see the stars and gaze the night
Back when we were young, when we even struggle just to fly the kite
Even if there's no sunshine you still managed to keep me feel I'm right

The weight of the world come crashing down on me
The time I heard the news about your tragic ending
My mind struggles to keep itself still
But now, I can't no longer differentiate what's wrong and what's real
I sit in my room, feeling empty and Ill
I weep, I stare blank, in disbelief that this is real

Is there sunshine where you are?
I hope there is, because now I understand
The reason why you ended your suffering and free yourself from this cruel prison called 'life'
The sun rises and you're not here anymore
I'm just glad that you're now free of sickness and pain
But it left scars that will never, ever heal

I want to feel the feeling when you're still here
So whisper to my ears the good times we made
And the way there was when you're still here
