Chapter Forty Five: Chen's pov

As Arabelle and the others walked out the door, Rennae and I followed to my car.

"All buckled?" I asked looking at Rennae.

"Sure am. Is Arabelle going to be okay?" She asked me.

"Yes, she will be fine. And so will the others don't worry." I said patting her leg.

"Today happened really fast, Chen. Thankyou. For being here." She said looking at me with a thankful smile.

"I will always be here. I promise." I said smiling back. We got to the park, but we didn't use the equipment. We just sat on a bench and talked, and talked, and talked.

Once you first met Rennae, she was shy, but once you got to know her she was just like her sister. I never thought that I would have such a good time with an eleven year old fan. I also never thought that I was going to fall in love with a 21 year old fan either.

"Are you ready to go to the apartment now? I'm sure they are done talking." I asked smiling at her. She nodded her head and we walked back to the car. The car ride was pretty silent. I was hoping that Corey would be gone by now. I had seen him in a picture on a table so I would know if he was still there.

Once we arrived we walked out to the parking lot. I saw a man about Baekhyun's height stumbling out of the lobby. He must have been drunk judging by the way he was walking. Once we got closer I realized that it was Corey. He had his eyes locked on Rennae. He reached into his back pocket to grab something that I could clearly see.

"Hi Corey, my name is-" He cut me off by putting a gun to Rennae's head.

"Why are you following me Arabelle?" He asked while his hands shook. Before he could pull the trigger at Rennae's head grabbed his hand causing him to fire the gun in a random direction. Rennae screamed and I pulled Corey's hand behind his back.

"Rennae, I want you to get my phone out of my back pocket and call the police please." I said in the calmest voice possible. Corey tried to escape my grasp, but I was stronger than the drunken man. I pinned him against the hood of my car and waited.

"Rennae?!" I heard Arabelle scream.

"Arabelle, I'm here I'm fine. It's okay." Rennae said in return. I watched from the corner of my eye as Arabelle checked Rennae's whole body. Then she kissed her on the forehead and pulled her in for a hug. She looked over at me and Corey.

"You bastard. You tried to shoot my sister? After what you did up there?" She yelled.

"Ari, love, calm down. The police are on their way." I said as I heard the sirens.

"See here they are." I said as the police pulled up.
