Chapter Nineteen: Chanyeol's pov

After I got to the hospital I realized that Kai and D.O. didn't follow us back. I told Sarah that I was going to get Kai and D.O.

Once I got to the apartment I opened the door and couldn't believe my eyes. Kai and D.O. were standing in front of the door making out. When Kai realized that I was there he pushed D.O. away. D.O. seemed hurt by this, but Kai didn't seem to notice. Or he noticed, but didn't care.

The car ride to the hospital was silent. I was so disappointed in Kai for doing what he did. He walking into Arabelle's room and acted like nothing was wrong. He looked at me with begging eyes when I called for Sarah. I ignored his begging and told Sarah what had happened. She lunged for him and yelled, but I held her back. I ignored what everyone was saying and just focused on the guilty look on Kai's face.

Did he really do something wrong? I thought to myself, but he let D.O. kiss him. If he didn't want him to he wouldn't have let it happen.

The last thing I heard before we left was Arabelle saying, "You know what don't answer that, just leave! You all need to leave! I can't do this!"

This hurt me so bad. I had to leave Sarah. I was really liking her, and I didn't want to leave her alone. She just found out that her husband was cheating on her, her best friend just got shot, and her best friend just got cheated on. I hated myself for obeying her, "You know what don't answer that, just leave! You all need to leave! I can't do this!" I didn't want to listen to her. I didn't want to leave them there. I hated myself for obeying. I was leaving Sarah after so many things had just happened. All in one day, she found out that her husband cheated on her, her best friend got shot, her best friend got cheated on, and the people she had wanted to meet for years had just left her.

The car ride was quiet. Once we got to the apartments, everyone started packing. I wasn't paying attention while Chen was yelling. He was upset about us leaving too. I wanted to say something, but I couldn't bring myself to it. I couldn't make myself upset anymore. I didn't want to cry anymore than I already was on the inside. I looked over at Kai who was crying intensely. I felt tears forming, but I wouldn't let them form.

Just like that we got up and left.
