Reason #12

So I think I'm gonna change my style of writting maybe only for this chapter since it's hard to use Eli's POV at the moment. Hope it is fine by you all~

Wonwoo ran towards the direction where Eli went but found no track of her, "The fuck she went to" he mumbles to himself. Changkyun and the others catch up on him while panting hard, "You damn fast man" he looked up before continue, "Where is she?" he asks Wonwoo. Wonwoo shrugged.

"Uh guys.. I think that's Eli" Jiwoo pointed somewhere towards the river, where a girl is slowly sinking. "Fuck I can't really swim that far" Changkyun cursed and Wonwoo sigh.

"I'll go to her" someone said, Sumin turned and saw Jaeho, "Well great fucker" she rolled her eyes. Jaeho ignored her and went to save Eli. He swam towards her with all his might. He pulled her up and scoop her on his arms, "I'm sorry Eli" he whispers guiltily. He puts her on his back, placing her hands on his neck and gripping it tightly. Afraid that she might fall. He moved slowly with the weight of her at his back to the shore.

He place her down on the ground and panted, "Thanks bro" Buffy pat his back with a smile. Sumin crouch down next to her and check her pulse, "She's still breathing but it's shallow"

Wonwoo crouched next to Sumin and nudge her away softly, "Let me handle this"

He took a deep breath and place his hands on the middle of Eli's chest and push it hard and fast. He tilted her head to the back slightly, pinches her nose shut and place his mouth over her's to deliver breaths. Whwn she doesn't respond, he panicked and do it again and again.

"Won that's enough" Changkyun place his hands on Wonwoo's shoulder to stop him, "No..no..no.. s-she must wake up"

"Wonwoo..it's better to call the ambulance to pick her up. You need to calm down" Mr. Kang said before glancing at Mrs. Kim, signaling her to call the ambulance.

Sumin and Jiwoo volunteered to company Eli to the hospital along with Mrs.Kim and the others stayed behind. However the camp is still going on.

They arrived at the hospital and Eli was rushed to the emergency room, her parents already waied for her there since Mrs. Kim gave them a call. "What happened to her?" Eli's mom asked Mrs. Kim.

Mrs. Kim looked down, unable to face Eli's mom, "She drowned Mrs. Ahn"

Mrs. Ahn placed her hands on the teacher's arms and shook her, "How could you let that happen to her!" she shouted with anger and frustration. Mr. Ahn came up to her wife and calmed her down, 'Honey..that's enough"

Mrs. Kim still looking down saying a small 'Sorry' feeling guilty to her guts.

The doctor came out from the said room and sigh, "She's still unconcious.. it seems like she's in a coma"

All of them stared at the doctor in disbelief, "No..no not my baby" the girl's mom drops to the floor and cried, her husband pulled her up and hugged her, tears wetting his shirt. He can't help it but shed a tear too.

Mrs. Kim wipe her tears at the news and at the broken family scene. Sumin and Jiwoo sigh, "I miss her.." Sumin said while tearing up. Jiwoo hugged her from the side, "Let's just pray so that she'll woke up soon"

"Mrs Kim.. I don't feel like wanting to go back to the camp" Jiwoo said to Mrs Kim and Sumin nodded in agreement. Mrs Kim gave them a motherly smile, "It's fine"

Back at the campsite, Changkyun, Wonwoo, Buffy and Jaeho felt uneasy. Mr Kang came to them and sighed, "Boys.. I'm sorry to say this but Eli is in a state of coma"

"What! No way sir!" Changkyun exclaimed. "I wanna go back now" Buffy mumbled with a groan.

"Unfortunately you can't.. There's only 2 days left so bare with it" he sighed. "Sorry boys" he continued. Throughout the conversation, Wonwoo stayed quiet, not wanting to say anything.

3 days. It's been 3 days since the incident and Eli haven't show sign of waking up. Hankyung, Yejin and Jayoung had been called to the principal together with their parents. Wonwoo and the others contstanly visit Eli but this time he was alone.

He sat next to her bed and held her hand, place it in betwen his. "Eli, I hope you wake up soon.. I miss you, your stupid jokes, your smile, your laugh, your everything. Please wake up and make more memories together with us..with me" a tear fell down his eye.

"Eli.. I like you" he confessed, "Fuck! I think I love you" he whispers while wiping away his tears and laughs at himself. He kissed her forehead and got up to leave, "See you tomorrow yeah"

Little did he know, despite being unconcious, Eli can hear everything. Every single thing they said to her, every single story they told her and every single thing he said. She just hope that when she woke up.. she won't forget a single thing. With that, a tear fell down her closed eye.
