Today is Wednesday, and there was still no Sebastían.

It's been a week already and he still hasn't made it back from Italy. What could've seriously been that important to leave for this long.

What am I even saying, it's none of my business. A relative could've died or something and he had to go back. I didn't even know he had a sibling. There's actually a lot of stuff I don't know about Sebastían. He's a mystery that hasn't been unfolded. Not like he's really told anyone anything. I mean he's only been here for a month, and we've only met up with him outside of school twice.

All we know is that he's a goofball, charming, has an ugly but an also kind of cute laugh, he lives with his mother here, he's Italian and has a nice car. No one has even visited his home.

There's plenty of things I'd want to know. Does he have a father, if so where is he? Why doesn't his sibling live with him? Is it possible that he has more than we know? The car he owns, is he rich?

It's funny because no matter how many times he might've left, his grades have stayed up. He showed me his grades one time, and he's definitely smart. If I had to guess, he's probably ranked in the top 10 percent. It's crazy.

I haven't called or texted him since the last time we talked. Maybe he was too busy because he didn't text or call me anymore after that, not that I was waiting for him to. He told me he'd be back soon. I don't see why he'd lie.

God, why am I so invested in him?

"Why are you still in the hallway dumbass, c'mon it's lunch. They're serving chicken nuggets today."

"You mean the only edible thing on the menu?" I gasped sarcastically.

"Duh, now pick up the pace before they take them all." Maddie said while pulling me to the cafeteria entrance.

I look around to find our table. When I spot it, Austin and Vince aren't the only ones sitting there. Sebastían is with them, and they're all laughing. You could here Sebastían's in particular since it's so different from theirs. His wide smile made me smile a bit.

"Oh Bash is back dude." Madison added while walking to the line. I kept my line of vision, they had calmed down from laughing. They were just talking, and Sebastían was listening. Well he was listening until he felt someone staring at him and he looked up at me. His lips stretched into a big smile. I waved at him and swooned a bit.

"You're so into him it's not even funny."

"I barely know anything about him, how could I?"

"Looks aren't the only thing included to being attracted to someone. You can't lie, he seems to be sweet as person. How can you not like him?"

She had a point.

"I'm not into him, I just like him being around."

"Which will soon turn into something more. I'll give you another month before you start confessing your love for him to me."
