I'm gonna be out of town for a couple of weeks, yaaay vacation. The only downfall is that my English III teacher assigned a book report due first day of school :( fuckin bitch.
ANYWAY LET'S GET TO IT.
:::
It was the end of school, and I was back home in my warm bed. I had my laptop on my lap and a bowl of popcorn on the side of me. I was watching the new season for "F is for Family". While in mid laugh, I hear my phone vibrate on my nightstand. I sighed and paused the show.
I reached for my phone on my nightstand, and grabbed it. I press the power button to see who could've texted me, or it could just be an annoying notification from an app. I see it's Sebastían's number.
I got my makeup work from teachers today, could you accompany me while I do them? I'm at Toffee's Café.I like how he decided to text me instead of Austin or Vince.
Did I really want to get up and sit with him while he did homework? Not really. I mean it's the end of the day and I just wanted it to myself. I felt another vibration.
Please regina
I hate him and his stupid Italian. It's gets me every time. I did an ugly moan, almost sounding like a cow. I shut down my laptop and moved the bowl out of my bed. I had to find pants.
I picked up my black joggers from my chair and grabbed a navy pullover. I put on my slides and grabbed my keys.
"Where are you going?" My mom asked. She was in the kitchen scrolling through her phone. She's probably on Facebook, since old people have taken over it.
"My friend needs help with his homework." I said.
"Austin?"
"No."
"Vince?"
I sigh. "No."
"Oh so this is a new boy. Is he black?"
"Mom he's waiting for me." I groaned.
"Fine. Be home by 9, and I want an explanation when you walk through that door."
I did a salute and walked out the door. The walk to the cafe was only 10 minutes, I didn't live too far from it. I felt through my pockets of my joggers and saw that I brought my earphones. I plugged them into my phone and played some music while I walked.
I hummed along to Bryson Tiller's "Somethin tells Me". It was still light outside, and it was a bit quiet. Cars weren't really riding past me, and the stop signs weren't occupied with cars. Everyone must be home. I honestly don't blame them, my good heart made me get up to help out a friend.
He seriously could've just called Vince or Austin.
I walked up to the building and grabbed the handle of the door. The aroma of pastries and coffee punched me in the nose, and I didn't mind it. I looked around to look for Sebastían.
"Chase."
I matched a familiar voice with a familiar face. Bash was waving me over to a booth to the far right of the entrance. It was weird though, I've never seen him with glasses. He looked like one of those sexy professors you read about in cringey romance books. I strolled over to the booth and took out my earphones.
