Confusion

Chapter 5

I wake up around 7. I look over at Brooke but she is still sleeping. I don't even know why I'm up but might as well start my day.

I walk over to my closet and pick out a red dress that falls just above my knees. I quickly brush my teeth. I decide to just brush my hair and not do anything with it. It looks slightly waved and I like when it's like that because it looks good with my brown hair. I only put on mascara because I am too lazy for anything else.

I really need to get a car soon because now I have to walk everywhere. I decide to walk to a nearby store and picked up some ramen noodles to make in the dorm and some other junk food stuff. I walked back and realized I had locked my self out.

"Oh how fantastic." I said to myself. I slid down the door and sat against it. I didn't want to wake up Brooke at 8:30 just to let me in.

So I just sat there for like 20 minutes on my phone when I heard Someone ?coming. I quickly stood up so I wouldn't look like an idiot just sitting outside of my room. I walked back a little and walked towards my room again so it looked like I had just arrived.

I looked over and saw that kid Harry walking towards me. Oh great.

He smiled when he saw me and started walking my way. I kept thinking to my self, shit, what do I say. Brooke said to be careful. What does that mean!?

"Hey" he greeted me with a smile that showed his dimples.

"Uh hi" I was being so awkward. God! Why am I so antisocial!

"What are you doing out in the hall?"

"Oh uh i just got back from the store." I held up the bags for him to see.

"Well that's a lie because I saw you sitting here 20 minutes ago" he said with a smirk.

"I locked myself out" I sighed with defeat.

"Isn't Brooke home?"

"Ya but she is sleeping" I explained

"Oh I see" he said and then just kind of stared at me.

The door to my room opened and Brooke stepped out.

"What are you guys doing out here?" She looked at us with suspicion.

"Nothing" Harry said kind of rushed."she locked herself out"

"Uh yeah, I left my key in our room" I said breaking my stare with Harry to look at Brooke.

"Okay?" She said. "You could have knocked"

"I didn't want to wake you up"

"It's fine, you don't have to worry about that" she kinda laughed.

"Okay well im gonna go back to my room" Harry said and turned around.

Brooke walked back into the room and I yelled bye to Harry. He waved and turned the corner. Brooke shut the door then looked at me,

"That was so weird!" She whisper screamed.

"What was?"

"He was totally staring at you! Like checking you out!" She nudged my shoulder.

"No he wasn't!"

"But he so was! You and Harry?! Who would have though!"

"Stop. Nothing is gonna happen between me and Harry!" I said not really sure of my self.

She looked at me unconvinced "mhm yup ok"

"Just drop it" I laughed

"Ok fine. Let's get all our stuff together"

I just looked at her a little confused.

" we have classes tomorrow" she reminded me.

First day of classes. Can't wait.
