Tyler stepped inside the cabin, instantly appreciating the warmth.

How did they manage to smuggle vodka to camp?

Troye was sitting with Shelly and a few of her less-bitchy friends, taking shots and laughing in that way you do when you’re desperate to feel something. When Tyler walked in, Troye grinned at him mischieviously.

“Tilly!”

The girl who had let Tyler in swayed back to her seat, giggling.

“Excuse me! This is… not okay!” Tyler wasn’t sure what to do, exactly. His teacher training hadn’t prepared him for this. He tried to ease his way back to the door.

“Where are you going Tilly.” Troye’s tone was kind of threatening. “You going to tell on us?”

Tyler swallowed “Yes! This is… not a camp activity.” It  came out more like a question than Tyler had intended.

Troye smiled at him in the least friendly way possible. “Well, I don’t think that’s a good idea now.” He paused to take another shot.

Tyler had never seen him like this; he was kind of… evil. He wasn’t sure whether he was terrified or turned on.

“Because, I would hate to see you lose your job.”

“Why would I lose my job? You would be the ones in trouble.” Troye grinned at him again, drawing Tyler’s eyes to his mouth. How could a human being have such pink lips? Was that physically possible?

“Well, you see, I’m a little tipsy…” Troye let out a tiny burp, as if to prove his point. “And I might not be so good at keeping my mouth shut. Like, about, I don’t know… Certain people sleeping with students.” Tyler felt himself turn a fiery red. He shot a glance at the girls, who were giggling at Troye’s words amicably.

“I was drunk!” Tyler hissed, in some kind of self-defence effort.

“What about in the classroom?”

“We didn’t sleep together!” Tyler looked at the girls worriedly. He hoped they were drunk enough not to remember these tit-bits in the morning, knowing that there was no point trying to deny it this far in. They probably already knew anyway.

Troye smirked at him, his eyes darkening slightly. “We would have. If that teacher hadn’t walked in.”

Tyler blushed, but couldn’t help smirking back. “Well, speak for yourself.”

The smile faded off Troye’s face, and he let out a heavy sigh before taking a swig straight from the alcohol-filled bottle. “It was a mistake.” He said dramatically.
