His Will To Play

Yo what is up guys? It's this girl back again with another update! So you know how I said yesterday was my home girls birthday? Well... I got injured so bad that I thought I broke my foot. So excuse me if this update is boring or slacking. Thanks and enjoy!

Eren's P.O.V-
Mikasa tapped me gently. "Wake up Eren, you have to eat something." I opened my eyes and closed them due to the bright light. "Wake up. You didn't eat nothing yesterday." Mikasa helped me get up.

"Morning." I said while rubbing my eyes. My raven haired sister smiled and stood up straight. "Get up, change, and come down to have breakfast." She left after she said that. I got up and felt a wave of pain wash over my leg. "Ugh.." I groaned as I tried to get up. Finally I got up and put in my clothes more slowly.

I limped downstairs and sat in the table. Armin greeted me and served me some eggs and toast with a cup of coffee. "Thanks Armin." The blonde nodded and went back to cleaning up the kitchen. I ate in silence and got up to put away my dish. I fell and the plate shattered. "Eren?! Are you okay?!" Armin rushed to my side. I nodded and tried to get up.

"My legs... they just gave up on me..." I said. Armin helped me up and put me on the couch. He went back and picked up the pieces of the plate. I felt bad for causing so much worry. Wait... didn't today I have practice? "Armin, what day is today?" I asked the blonde coconut. "Um... Its Sunday." He said still picking up the pieces.

"Today is practice..." I got up with all my might and finally reached my room. I got my case and my green jacket. My legs finally returned back and I was able to walk again but not make sudden movements. "I'm going to practice Armin!" I called and Armin rushed to me out of the kitchen. "I'm coming with you! You may need help getting there." He said.

Armin and I made our way to the school. I walked towards the music room and saw Musa and other members like Mina, Annie and Bertoldt. I waved as Armin sat in his usual spot. Musa noticed me and ran to me. "Eren? Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at home resting?" She asked me. "I already missed a days worth of practice. Im not missing another day." She smiled and hugged me.

"Try not to over exhaust yourself. If you need a break don't be afraid to ask me." Both of us walked towards the group. "Alright! I was speaking to the President of the School Council this morning and we have enough funds for Friday's performance. So, we are having a classical slash pop music festival. The theme is summer as all you know." Musa said to everyone.

"All of you know your songs I presume. For example, Eren will be playing Hymn For The Weekend violin format. Today it will be a rehearsal. In the changing room we have everyone's clothes so get dressed. The drama club is helping us with the stage so one less thing to worry about." Everyone scattered to the changing room to get changed. There were 8 stalls. All of us got back to the stage.

"Thanks for the stage decorations Rico. You and your club did an amazing job." Musa complimented Rico, the drama club's leader. "Your welcome. We did do a good job didn't we?" Everyone laughed. Rico and her club left and now it was time for us to rehearse. I got up the stage, a bit wobbly. Musa got next to me.

"Now the first act is Eren and I playing Hymn for the weekend. Then Annie playing her solo piece. Then Mina and her group. Next will be Betoldt then his group. Then me again and all of us playing to finish it off." She commanded. Musa took her seat in back of the piano. "Ready?" I ask and she nods. I start playing and Musa begins. In the middle of our song I feel myself start to sweat which was unusual because I don't sweat until the end of the song.

"Eren..?" Musa asks and I dismiss her. I continue to play until I feel very hot. I start to shake. Musa stood playing and everyone starts to look at me. I fall down and black out completely. The last thing I saw was Armin and Musa reaching out to me.

~Time Skip To Where Eren Wakes Up In The Hospital~

I open my eyes and see a white ceiling. I try to get up but I couldn't. All I felt was pain. "He's coming back to consciousness." I heard a deep male voice say. Then I realize it was the doctor. He helped me up and I saw Armin, Mikasa, Musa, Hanji and Levi. "What am I doing here?" I rub the side of my head. Mikasa comes by my side and rubs my back. "You passed out during rehearsal."

I tried getting up but the pain came back stronger. "Don't try to get up yet. Take your time." Armin says. "Eren I don't think you can perform on Friday." I felt my eyes widen. "No! I'm going to play! If not can we push back the date for... next Saturday?" I ask and Musa sighs. "Fine but if you don't get better by Saturday you aren't playing." I sighed in defeat.

"It's for your own good brat." Levi says. "I hate to admit it but midget here is right." Mikasa says. I looked down at the floor. "In the meantime, you get better and I'll have to find a replacement." Musa says. "I know who!" Hanji squeaks. "Who?" She grabs Levi. "Levi! He is a quick learner. Even though he hasn't played before like I said he is a fast learner! Maybe Eren can show him?" Musa considers it for a second.

"Are you sure he is the best person for this job?" Hanji nods viciously. "Yes!" Musa smiles and sighs. "Alright. Eren will start to teach him though I'm not quite convinced." Musa walks out. I'm.... going to teach Levi..? My heart raced. I felt heat flow up to my cheeks.

End of the chapter! So... Levi and Eren are going to get closer together! Yay! Finally making some actual progress! See you in the next chapter!
