A month later Helen had her babies, but passed a day later. Vincent was having trouble dealing with her death. Soon after he died of a broken heart. Amanda's uncle Hans hired a nanny to raise Amanda and her three sisters. Her name is Mrs. Luis. She raised the girls with a iron fist.
Eight years later/Amanda's pov
(Amanda is 16, the triplets are 8)"Mrs. Luis may I go out?" She is knitting a blanket in the rocking chair.
Mrs. Luis peered up at me, then continued knitting. "No. Tonight is a full moon. Go get ready to bed." Even though heavenly breaks and nightwalkers both controlled their shifts our powers are heightened during the full moon. So if something does go bad while I was out I could killed somebody.
"Yes ma'am." I did as I was told and went to bed. But she couldn't keep me trapped forever.
"Amanda why are your eyes grey?"
"My mom had grey eyes Athena." Athena's the oldest of the triplets by 2 minutes.
"So you're saying we do not have the same mom? So that means we're not sisters?"
I laughed, "do you want to get rid of me Athena?" She scratched her head to think, which made me mad. She hesitated to answer, and Josephine walks in.
"No she's just tired of having to share a room with me and Harper, and she is upset that you have your own room." Josephine is the second oldest of the triplets, Harper being the youngest.
I got up from the table. "Don't worry Athena I'll be going in a few years." They both shot me a questioning glare, then I walked up to my room. I was waiting for freedom from this house, freedom from Mrs. Luis, and freedom to be the person I want to be. The day came 2 days after my eighteenth birthday.
Mrs. Luis had no control over me. I'm eighteen an legal adult. So I packed lightly and walked towards the door. Then a sweet innocent voice came from behind me as I reach for the door knob. "Amanda are you leaving us?" Harper was the one to ask a question Athena and Josephine are standing next to her.
I looked at all three of them, "yes I'm leaving." Harper being the most sensitive of all of them started crying. "But I'll come and visit, okay Harper?" But I knew it wasn't true I was never coming back.
She wiped her tears away and I turned towards Athena and Josephine. "Take care of each other."
"So this is mean I can have your room now?"
"Sure why not Athena." She jumped up and down squealing.
"Did you at least hear what I said Josephine?"
"Yeah I heard you, I'll watch over them." I'm nodded it then walked out the door.
Here's a little tip if you want to get away from a psychopath don't move 2 hours away. And do not fall in love.
(Amanda is 20)
"Hey Amanda what do you think about dinner tonight?" Soon after I moved away I met Cameron we were married 5 months after we met. He has curly brown hair with hazel eyes.
"I would love dinner! Where are we going?"
He smirked. "I'm not telling you just get ready."
"Alright I will get ready."
"Okay," he smiled showing me pearly whites.
Cameron's pov
Amanda runs off to our room to get ready. We've only been married for 2 months but I love this woman. She was goofy, beautiful, and straight honest with you. At least for the most part she didn't talk about her family. Which is really weird she met my whole family, and they love her. But I didn't pry too much, I can tell it's difficult for her to talk about.
There was a slight knock at the door. I want to open it and a little old lady was at the door. "How may I help you?"
"Yes you can can you tell me if Amanda's home?"
"How do you know..." Before I could finish the old lady had a knife to my throat. I was worried what will this lady do.
Then I heard Amanda shuffling in the room. "Hey Cameron have you seen my necklace? It was right here on the dresser." I want to scream to tell her not to come out the room. But the old lady put the knife closer to my neck. I felt blood trickling down the neck. She must have felt scared when she didn't hear me answer. Amanda walked out the room her eyes wide as saucers. "Cameron?"
"Amanda let's go," the lady said very, very calm.
"O...o..okay! Let him go, please?" She walked forward, mouthing 'i love you.' "Amanda who...," I see red dots on Amanda's face and I'm choking on my blood. "NO!"
Amanda's pov
I'm being splashed in the eyes with something. A metallic smell I know to well, blood. I open my eyes to see Cameron choking. "NO!" I'm screaming and crying running over to Cameron as he collapsed. Mrs. Luis grapped me before I can reach him and dragged me out of the house. The images of the man I loved choking on his blood, will forever haunt me.
"Amanda you are home!" The triplets ran down the stairs and hugged me. "Amanda why won't you hug us back?" I know I was to far gone if Harper's sweet voice could not bring me back. I heard their feet shuffle, then I was pulled down.
Josephine watched me for a few minutes before speaking. "She is not there you guys," she shuffled back releasing my shirt.
"She is right there, what do you mean Josephine?"
"She is hurt Athena!" Harper and Athena gasped and moved forward, then stoped as the front door closed.
Mrs Luis passed us, "bedtime ladies." The girls gave me a kiss on each cheek and my forehead. "That means you to Amanda!"
I looked the devil straight in the eyes, contemplating her murder in my head. "You are dead!"
