Amanda's pov

I am sitting down in my window. This room is an exact replica of my room at my mom's house. I'm looking down at Athena and Josephine in the yard. Harper must be in the house somewhere. The girls are going through their changes. From girl to woman along with human to heavenly break. Athena is the alpha since she is the oldest. Which explains why she is beating the crap out of the tree in the yard.

The position of alpha usual goes to the oldest of the family. Since I died my nightwalker side took control, and kept me alive. Which is why I am not the alpha. Then the betas of the families becomes alphas of their new family, when they get married. Athena was not ready for this, our dad is not here to help her control her anger.

My door creaked up, I did not have to turn around to know it was Harper.

She was quiet for a few seconds, "you know you are the real life Rapunzel?"

I laughed a little, "no I'm not." Because Prince Charming will never come to safe me from the Dragon.

"Amanda are you coming down?" She was filled with so much hope.

"No sorry Harper not today."

She sighed, "you said that yesterday!"

"I know, here. Give one to Ena and Jo for me."

"Okay," Harper left so soon she had the gifts in her hands. I watched Harper go to Josephine then to Athena.

"Have you learned your lesson?" I turned to see Mrs Luis standing in the doorway. She has that same evil smirk on, like she did when she killed Cameron. I just gave her a dirty look, and she walked out. I heard her heart beat five feet away. But I did not care, I glanced at the girls Josephine is dragging Athena inside.

"Are you with child?"

I let I shaky breath attempting to calm myself down which did not work. "If I was, what will you do?! YOU KILLED MY HUSBAND, ARE YOU GOING TO KILL ME NOW?!"

She had that evil smirk on her face again. It sent me over the edge. "I will see you down stairs."

I stood up for Athena when Mrs Luis was yelling at her. To only get yelled at by Athena once we left to the family room. Dinner was ready, talk about awkward family dinners. Athena was crying throughout dinner, Harper eat without a care in the world, while Josephine is analyzing everyone's behavior. The girls and I go back to the family room. Mrs Luis stayed in the kitchen to clean.

"I'm sorry Amanda."

"It's ok Ena." Athena laid on my lap until they started to play monopoly. "Hey guys," they all turned to me, "whatever you hear don't move." I moved to the kitchen once again.

"Oh Amanda are you here to help?"

"No Maria I'm not." She must have known what I intended to do. I could see the the fear in her eyes. But that didn't stop me.

"Amanda you don't want to do this," Mrs Luis pleaded. "Please Amanda think about this."

I barked back, "did you think before you killed my husband?!" There was a quick swipe of my knife across her neck. Blood splashs on to my face and it dripped into my mouth.
