(Your POV)
Franny said something to Wilbur, but I don't know what. She came back to me with a smile on her face.
"Stay as long as you would like to. You are very welcome here."I could see Wilbur a few feet away staring at me to see my response. I flushed uncomfortably and looked back at Franny.
"I will have Wilbur take you to the guest room," she finished.
"I would hate to impose... especially since you don't know me super well-"
"Nonsense! You're a great kid, and we love that you came to visit." She turned to Wilbur, who was still a bit far from us two. "Wilbur, take (Y/n) to the guest room."
He slowly came up to me, but before he could take me to my room, Franny took his arm and whispered something to him. He nodded, then led me through the halls. After a short while, he showed me inside the guest room. It was a vast room, with a bathroom and a "small" television. There were books and shelves on the walls and a big bed up on the top floor.
"Um, Wilbur? How do I get up there? There are no stairs," I asked.
He smiled. "I'll show you." He took me to a small pad on the floor. The wall next to us had two hooks with what looked like a ray gun or something hanging from them. He grabbed it and pointed it towards the pad under us.
"This is a Levitation ray; you use it to levitate the pad up to the top floor. Watch." He fired the trigger, making the gun shoot out a purple bubble-like cloud which made the pad rise to the top.
Wilbur tossed the ray on the floor before the pad reached the top. It shook slightly, causing me to cling to Wilbur's arm so I wouldn't fall. He stepped off the pad and onto the top floor, with me still clinging on. I saw that one whole side of the wall was a window. It had a small slide door that led to a balcony.
"Cool, right?" Wilbur asked.
I let Wilbur go and stepped outside. Leaning against the ledge with my head resting on my hand, I looked at the sky.
The stars twinkled, and the moon shone brighter than I had ever seen before. There were too many stars to count, not like back at home. There was a field that stretched beyond the horizon.
"Cool, indeed!" I replied.(Third Person POV)
Wilbur noticed again how pretty (Y/n) was. He couldn't help but smile as she pointed to the different things she saw in the sky, and he couldn't help but feel that something was special about his new friend.
"Kids, are you up there?" Franny called.
The kids heard her call and lowered onto the bottom floor.
"I just wanted to tell you two good night. Feel free to stay as long as you like, (Y/n)!" Franny chirped from the entrance.
(Y/n) smiled.
"Thank you for being so nice, and good night to you too!"Franny left. Wilbur turned to (Y/n) confidently.
"Looks like I will be seeing you tomorrow, my lady!"She grinned and hugged him quickly, making him blush.
"Thank you for bringing me here!" she chirped.Wilbur chuckled nervously.
"Of course. I'm glad we met!" He stood there for a few seconds, biting his lip awkwardly before deciding to leave. "Well... good night!"He jogged out of the room contently until he bumped into Carl, who was upset.
"Carl! What's up?" Wilbur coed persuasively from the floor.
"What's up, huh? Well, I'll tell you what's up. (Y/N) IS STILL HERE!" shouted Carl.
Wilbur stood back on his feet.
"What have we talked about in the past? Stress always gives you those hot wires!" He knocked on Carl's chest. "Again, just take a breather, then relax." Wilbur turned Carl away from him and pushed him gently out of the hall. "Mom's playing classical music tonight; go enjoy some time to yourself!""Well, I do enjoy classical mus- wait-wait- hold on a second... you're not changing the subject that easily! You need to take (Y/n) home right now!"
Wilbur shook his head and tisked.
"In the middle of the night! She's sound asleep by now! Besides, everything will be totally fine. Trust me!"
