I followed Talia out to a car, Got in, And within minutes, We'd arrived to a house. It looked calm, I wasn't sure if we were at the right house.

"Talia, Are you sure?"-

"Yeah! The party's in the basement"She smiled. I nodded, Acceptingly. I was surprised, She wasn't lying. The party was in the basement.

*

"This is my boyfriend Camillo, Baby this is my cousin Jaila"Talia introduced us. She smiled up at him. He was definitely too old for me, But he looked a bit older than Talia too. He was borderline creepy. I just got bad vibes from the dude.

"She young, How old is she?"He glanced between me and Talia. I wasn't sure if she knew my age, But I didn't want him to know my age.

"Sixteen"Talia answered. Welp.

"She a baby"He smirked.

"Consenting age"-A dude behind him added. I rolled my eyes and scoffed. I knew I shouldn't have gone to this party...

"T, Can I talk to you?"I asked Talia as she clung to Camillo's side. She nodded yes. I went to a semi private area so we could talk. "I'm not feelin'is party anymore"-

"C'mon Jaila, Is it Camillo?"-

"How'd you know?"-

"He can be a bit"-

"Creepy, Inappropriate, irrelevant"-

"Jaila, That's my boyfriend"-

"How old is he?"-

"Does it matter?"-

"It does when you're only seventeen. Are you tryna end up like your sister?"-

"Who are you? My Mom?"-

"No, Talia, I'm just not comfortable here."-

"You were fine dancing and prancing around with Monet, Youngboy and his crew. But I guess it's the real ones that intimidate you"-

"Talia, You have no idea what you're talking about, So i'ma let that slide"-

"I know EXACTLY what I'm talkin' about. You've been here for what? Not even a month and you think you know them? Really?"-

"He ain't a good dude T"-

"Please don't give me relationship advice. Especially in your predicament. You have a boyfriend and you're kickin' it with other dudes. But he's the hoe?"-She scoffed.

"Excuse me?"-

"Whatever Jaila, You wanna go, Go. It's whatever"She rolled her eyes before walking away from me.

Did that just really happen?

I wasn't having it. I didn't want to be here. I climbed the stairs out of the basement and landed in the house. Just as I got to the top of the stairs, I knocked into a guy. Of course he was taller than me, He was lightskin with a fade, He held a case of beers.

"Sorry"I mumbled, I walked around him.

"Aye!"He spoke, Setting the beer case on the counter.

"Where you goin'?"He asked curiously.

"I, uh"-

"C'mon, It's early. Stay for a while."He proposed. I really didn't want to, But it was early. What's the worst that could happen.

*

"Yeah, Camillo can be kinda pushy. Ion really like'em either, But he's family."-

"Really?"-

"Yeah, He's my half brother. So whatever big bro does, Lil' bro does"-He smiled.

"So you creep on younger girls?"-I raised an eyebrow.

"No!"-"I hope not"He chuckled. "Nah, I like girls around my age."He looked over at me. It got extremely awkward.

"Manny!"Another voice called. A guy emerged from the hallway. "My bad, I ain't mean t'interrupt, We jus' wanted the beer"-

"It's in the kitchen"-He pointed around me, Slightly leaning in. The guy disappeared, Leaving Manny and I alone.

"So, You and Camillo live here alone?"I asked, Looking around. It looked a bit neat to belong to JUST boys.

"Yep"He said, Popping his P.

"For real?"-

"You'on believe me?"-

"It jus' seems a lil' organized"-

"Boys do clean y'know, I mean, I got domestic responsibilities."He smiled. I glanced down at my phone. Realizing it was just before eleven. I had to move tomorrow, I wanted to have some sleep.

Conversing with Manny made me realize that not all dudes are douche bags, But Camillo does it on purpose, Which makes me dislike him even more.

"I gotta get home. It was nice meetin' and talkin' t'you"I said, Standing up from the couch.

"I'll walk you to the door" He smiled. As I walked out the door, I heard his voice.

"Aye!"- I turned to face him. "I didn't catch your name"-

"I didn't throw it"I shut him down. He smiled, And was about to turn around.
"Jaila!"I smiled at him. He smiled too. I waved before departing. Alone.

I arrived home earlier than I thought I would, And was actually able to get some sleep.
