I always start off with one of these. It's tradition.
The idea for this AU came from the song Aaron Burr, Sir in the Hamilton soundtrack. As we all know, Alexander comes to Aaron looking for advice, and the two of them get inter by three very drunk men whose beliefs values are very different from Aaron's.
John Laurens starts off by saying how much he'd enjoy killing cops. Lafayette says he'd like to tell the King to "go away", but I'm pretty sure he'd get more vulgar if he had more knowledge of the English language. And Hercules Mulligan is just disturbing. I mean, he's a step away from rape and domestic violence.
Naturally, Alexander becomes BFF'S with these individuals.
So I made a prison AU, because there are precious few (if any) and I think they have incredible potential. (I used some elements from Prison Break, too, it you were wondering.)
One last thing before we begin: only characters from Act One make an appearance. The occasional cameo might make its way in, but that's all there is. So sorry, but no Jefferson, no Reynolds Pamphlet, no Philip, and no Madison. (I know you're only here for him, he's a badass.)
Updates on Monday, Thursday, Friday. Maybe Saturday. And as summer holidays begin, my schedule is going to be all over the place, so who knows?
