It's said that Vincent Van Gogh used to eat yellow paint. Van Gogh was so tormented that he thought painting his internal organs yellow could possibly bring him to a happier place, a place without darkness. The faint hope that this idea could bring happiness drove him, but it wasn't only Van Gogh who was driven by the hope that an outrageous idea, such as painting his internal organs yellow, could bring happiness. Evangeline was quite like Van Gogh, darkness filled her from the inside out, but she had her own yellow paint, Harry. Everyone, in fact, has their yellow paint, that idea in their head that they believe will fill them up with happiness, but Evangeline's yellow paint was much more toxic than Van Gogh's ever was and she had no idea.
