Chapter 3: Jonh Ivan V. Algria

"Hawakan mo siyang mabuti! Makakatikim talaga sa akin 'to e! Ano ah!" Rinig kong bulalas ni Alex pagkapasok na pagkapasok ko sa Studio ni Justine.

Nadatnan ko si Geo na hawak hawak sa magkabilang braso ang kawawang si Myco, habang si Alex naman ay marahas na nakahawak sa kwelyo ng uniform niya. Busy na naman sila sa hobby nila, ang pambubully. Si Justine naman ay abala sa pagpapatuyo ng mga litratong kinuhanan nya at tila walang pakialam sa mga nangyayare. Si Crib naman sa kabilang banda ay kalalabas lang ng banyo at mukang katatapos maligo.

"Oh, Hi Van." Bati ni Justine ngunit sa mga litrato siya nakatingin.

"Hi Just." Bored na sagot ko naman.

"Hi Bro." Bati naman ni Crib.

"Alex, ano na naman bang ginawa niyan?" Tanong ko naman kay Alex sabay salampak sa mahabang couch ni Justine.

"Wala naman, niyaya lang namin siyang maglaro ng soccer kaso tinanggihan niya kami. Kaya eto, tinuturuan namin siya ng leksiyon." Matigas na wika ni Alex sabay suntok sa tiyan ni Myco.

Alex is a womanizer jerk with an anger management Issues. Wala siyang pasensya sa lahat ng bagay at madaling uminit ang ulo niya. At lahat ng bagay na gusto nya ay nakukuha nya. Why not, he's rich after all.

Myco that coward, is one of the scholars here in Academy! Matagal na siyang binubully ni Alex pero hindi man lang niya kayang ipagtanggol ang sarili niya. Kalalaki niyang tao. Napaismid na lang ako.

Ganito ang nangyayare sa mga studyanteng mahihirap o yung mga scholars lang dito sa school na 'to. Actually, our school is supposed to be exclusive only for those who have enough money to enroll. But then our school head Mr. Adam Stanford, Alex's father, gives away 20 scholarships every year for those students who are smart enough and qualified but couldn't afford a high quality education. Kaya naman may mga mangilan-ngilang basura dito.

"That's enough." Mahinahon kong sabi nang mapansin kong naghihikahos na sa sahig si Myco. Lumapit ako sa kanila at bahagyang umupo para makita ko ng lubusan ang kaawa-awang expresiyon ng kanyang mukha.

"What's wrong with you bro. Now your helping this bastard get away with his sin?"

"Give it up Alex, maghanap ka na lang ng ibang pagkakaabalahan mo." Hindi siya nagsalita ngunit rinig ko ang kanyang pagbuntong hininga.

Tinulungan ko si Myco na tumayo at saka dali daling kinaladkad palabas ng Studio.

"Never show your face to Alex again or else 'di lang sakit ng katawan ang matatamo mo. Leave." I said. Tumango lang siya at tuluyan nang umalis.

Dito sa studio ni Justine kami madalas naglalagi kapag walang klase o kaya naman ay ayaw naming pumasok. Dito din nakadisplay ang lahat ng mga awards na napapanalunan ng school, na may kinalaman sa Arts. Madami ding mga pictures ng mga studyante na nakadikit sa walls. May sariling restroom ito at may sariling refrigerator. Mayaman ang pamilya ni Justine. They own the whole Entertainment Industry in the country and they also have Advertising agency.

"That bastard is really getting into my nerves." Asik pa ni Alex sabay salampak din sa couch.

"Crib. Come with me." Tumango siya at tahimik na sumunod sakin. Lumabas kami ng studio at naglakad papunta sa football field kung saan wala masiyadong tao. Of all people including my own family, I trust Crib more than any other person in the world. I consider him my bestfriend. Since elementary kasi ay magkasama na kami. Same school, same social class, same interests.

"How's the investigation going?" Tanong ko pagkaupo namin sa isa sa mga bench na nakapalibot sa football field.

"The day before yesterday, kinausap ko ang organization na binayaran ko para mag imbestiga but they have nothing. No leads, no hints, nothing dude."

"Sigurado ka bang pribadong organization ang binayaran mo? Baka mamaya, nabayaran na din yan ng school?"

"No. And do you really think that this school has something to do with Lucas' abduction?"

"I'm positive dude. Look, There were 6 students including Lucas, who have been reported missing this year and no single national news or articles came out about it. Ang nakakapagtaka pa, lahat ng mga nawawalang studyante ay dito sa Academy huling nakita. Don't you think it's weird?"

"What's weird?" Tanong ng isang pamilyar na boses sabay akbay samin ni Crib.

"What the hell Alex. You scare the hell out of me!" I said in annoyance.

"Why are you here?" Iritang tanong din ni Crib.

"Sinundan ko kayo. What are you two up to now huh?" Mapangasar na tanong niya pa. Hindi niya pwedeng malaman ang tungkol sa pagpapaimbestiga ko sa pagkawala ni Lucas. Hindi din 'to pwedeng malaman ni Mr. Standford. The Academy strictly prohibits students and even faculties to talk about the missing students and even digs for informations about them. They said it was in the means of preserving the image of the school.

"We're just checking out for girls okay." I answed. I can't help but keep annoyed.

"If you want girls, I can give you some. Go to my party tomorrow at 8pm. Don't forget to bring comdoms." Then he smirked.

"I don't want any of your girls Alex." I said and walked away.

I even hear him say "What's wrong with him dude?" before I can get out of there sight.

Hindi ko naman talaga kaibigan si Alex. He's the rudest jerk I've ever met. Kailangan ko lang siyang pakisamahan dahil anak siya ng President ng Academy na 'to at pareho kami ng mga social gatherings na pinupuntahan. That's why I had to endure his jerky behavior. Pero once na napagod na ako, baka masapak ko na siya.

"What do you want now?" Medyo iritang tanong ko. Alas sais palang kasi ng umaga ay may tumawag na naman sakin. Everyone knows how much I hate recieving calls at these hours, specifically, I hate recieving calls from my fianće. Yeah, I'm engage without even my approval.

"No Ivan! This is not what I want, this is what your father wants." damang dama ko ang iritasyon sa boses niya.

"What does he want then? Why does it always have to come from you!"

"He wants me to go with you on your aunt's birthday party on next saturday and I'm so annoyed that I have to cancel my visit at my grandpa's farm just to come with you."

"Don't come then." I said as simple as that. I heard her sigh.

"As if I had a choice." She replied then ended the call.

She's Tresha C. Del Gado, my fianćee, want to know more about her? Okay I'll tell you. She's beautiful, she's smart(Hell yeah), she's hot(I like her curves), she got guts, and of course, she's a badass. She's maybe quiet but she can ruin someone's life like a pro. She can play with boys with her hand if she wants to. I can even say that she's perfect. But the most traggic part of our engagement is that, we never aggreed to it. She hates me in the same way that I don't like her. I can only treat her as my sister. Nothing more intimate than that. But what can we do, we are playing a game of survival and we needed each others family to remain at the top. Call it greed, I'll call it surviving.
