I was walking to my second period, the class that I had with Corey. As soon as I sat down Corey came over.
"What time should I pick you up for the dance?" He asked.
"Oh well I was gonna drive with Aaron but I'll cancel." I replied.
"Ok cool." He smiled at me so warmly. He had of course a perfect tan and a bright white smile.
"Wear something blue, you look good in blue." Corey requested.
I realized I was wearing a blue sweater.
"Oh, um I'll try." That was an odd and kind of rude request but flattering I guess. Then the bell rang starting class.
"Hey um I can't drive with you to the dance, I'm sorry Aaron." I apologized.
"Oh it's fine, it's Corey driving you?"
"Well yeah." Aaron's reaction to that didn't make it look like it was fine.
"Oh that's good" he grumbled.
"Can you believe the dance in TOMORROW!" Skylar screeched into the phone.
"Ow! Maybe if ill be able to hear the music tomorrow." I covered my ears.
"Sorry!" She apologized.
"I gotta go I'm driving to school."
"Bye Ang!" Skylar said.
I was walking to Corey's locker to surprise him because we never see each other in between 3 and 4th hour and I almost dropped my books.
There he was kissing Brittany Thompson, a dumb platinum blonde girl who flirted with every guy. I went up and slapped Corey on the face. I walked away tears threatening to spill.
"Hey! It wasn't what it looked like!" Corey argued.
"Sure you guys weren't kissing you were just um.... KISSING!" I stormed away.! Corey was just such an asshole I was so angry but yet very upset someone could betray me. Immediately in 4th hour Aaron knew something was wrong. He passed me a note and on there we kept a conversation:
Hey what's wrong Ang?
Corey was kissing Brittany Thompson!
Wow. That douche! Do I have permission to strangle him? Please?
>:(
No, I already slapped him. Can I drive with you to the dance still Aaron?
Yeah of course Ang, but don't worry it's Corey's loss. And you are so much better than Brittany Thompson!
Thanks Aaron I can always count on you! :)
Just doing my job madam.
I smiled at Aaron and stuffed the note in my pocket. We agreed to hang out later.
