My Badass Bot -Bumblebee-

Chapter 8

So, stuff has happened. After my night with Bumblebee, I woke up in the backseat of his alt mode, in his holo forms arms. Honestly I thought things would be awkward between Bee and I, but I couldn't be more wrong. We were getting along great, if not better. I found out that Raf had spent the night with Jack while I was gone, and covered for me. Then, a few days later, this whole escapade with Jack, Miko, and Raf's science experiments had been...modified, by Ratchet. They all got half credit, cuz we have a cool teacher. Thank God I had gotten mine done in the week the science fair assignment was handed out.

Ratchet wasn't happy about that, but he got over it. That same day, Ratchet detected moving Energon, so Optimus took Bumblebee to investigate. It turned out someone called Starscream had infused energon into a Cybertronian that had been put into Stasis to protect the Energon here on Earth. His name was Skyquake, cool name if you ask me. Optimus and Bee had to fight him. They came back empty handed, but I was just glad they were both okay.

It was a week later from that, and I was getting dressed. I put on a black tank top and ripped jeans, then pulled a crimson colored hoodie over my head, along with some red converse. I found Raf waiting outside my door and we quickly told our Mama we would be hanging out with friends. I thanked God that our Papa was still asleep. As soon as we got onto the porch, I seen Bumblebee driving down the street to us. I got in through the passenger side and to the drivers seat, Raf shut the door as soon as he was in.

"Miss me?" Bee said with a cocky twist in his words.

"Oh yeah, I thought I'd implode." I played along with a smile.

He laughed. "Have no fear, Bumblebee's here" he said confidently.

"What about you? Bet you were tearing your wires out missing us." Raf joined in.

"Is it that obvious?" Bee asked.

We all burst out laughing right at that point. When we calmed down enough we continued our playful banter as we seen Bulkhead pull in front of us. I seen Miko stick out her hand and waved, I was surprised when I seen Jacks hand wave too. But I rolled the window down and waved back. When we pulled into base, Miko hopped out, asking Ratchet if he missed us, calling him Doc Bot.

"Shouldn't they be in school?" He asked, not answering the question.

"On a Saturday? We have the whole weekend off." Miko said. "To spend with you."

"Wasn't expecting to carpool. What gives, Arcee?" Jack asked.

"Tag team, Jack." She answered. "It's my turn for exploration duty."

"Too bad. It's a beautiful day for a ride." He turned, the tone in his voice telling me what he was trying to do. "Would hate for you to feel guilty for leaving me indoors."

"Arctic exploration duty."

"Indoors where it's warm." He gave up, walking to the side.

Raf walked up. "The Arctic? I've always wanted to see snow."

"I would invite you, Rafael. But the conditions are too extreme." Optimus said. "Even for we Autobots."

Raf shrugged with a smile. "I understand."

Arcee and Optimus turned to the ground bridge, but Optimus paused and twisted to look down at Raf. "But I will bring you back a snowball."

Raf smiled "that would be awesome." He said as the two walked through the glowing ground bridge.

"Transport complete." Ratchet said, more to himself as he went to turn the bridge off. But suddenly it let off a small explosion. "By the AllSpark." He gasped.
