My Badass Bot -Bumblebee-

Chapter 9

I was sitting on the railing in front of the big screen monitor. We were waiting for the new bot we found to get here. Bulkhead and Miko were really excited, Bulk was pacing. I fell back and hung from my knees, arms dangling down.

"Is that safe?" I opened my eyes to see an upside down Bumblebee.

"I'll be fine." I dismissed.

"Don't worry about her. She can sleep almost anywhere. One time, she climbed up really high into a pine tree and fell asleep hanging from her knees. She could be an acrobat if she wanted." Raf cut in.

"What's an acrobat?" Bee asked.

"A circus entertainer. They do these awesome gymnastics high up in the air, and they're super flexible and can bend a lot of different ways." Raf said.

"Maybe I'll run away with the circus." I teased.

"You don't mean that." Raf said, laughing.

"No, I don't." I smiled. "I'm fine right here." I stretched my arms and spine to make a point. "Night guys. See you whenever I wake up." I yawned and stretched a leg upward towards my head, arms outstretched as I hung on with my other leg. I did the same to the opposite and closed my eyes, sleep coming a moment later.

I woke to the sound of metal clashing with metal. I opened my eyes and swung myself upright and looked around. I immediately seen the new bot. He was mostly white but had red and green markings on him.

"She lives." I turned to see Jack and Raf walking up to me. I yawned and cracked my neck.

"The new guys here." I commented.

"Yeah, his names Wheeljack." Jack said.

"He's a wrecker, like Bulkhead." Raf said.

"We're gonna start a party real soon." Jack said.

"Great." I slid down off the railing with a smile. I decided to help Miko push her amp nearer to the floor. She hooked up her guitar and I sat on top of the amp.

"Wanna play too?" She offered.

I shook my head. "It's all you." I said.

She shrugged and started strumming. Bee was sitting with his back against the wall, watching. Arcee was a little bit to the side with Jack on the railing near her head. I turned to watch bulkhead and Wheeljack play with this metal ball thing. They seemed to be having fun with it.

"Come on Raf, show us some moves." I turned to see Miko trying to get Raf to dance. I smiled and stood next to him.

"Oh alright." He fixed his glasses.

I watched to see what he was going to do. I laughed and started to do the same as him. Bee leaned down to see what we were doing and started copying us. I laughed with glee. This is one of my new favorite moments. The music stopped and I paused, looking for the reason. The ball they were throwing had hit the wall and landed close to the ground bridge switch.

"Hey Bella, you should sing." Miko said.

My eyes widened. "I don't know..." I looked down shyly.

"Oh come on, your great." She urged.

"Well..what song?" I asked, knowing I had no way out of it.

"Any song." She shrugged. I sighed, getting an idea. I walked over to the box with instruments in it and pulled out a guitar. I sat on the Amp again and cleared my throat as I tuned it. I took a deep breath and started strumming.

Yeah she's heaven on the eyes but boy she's hell on the heart." I paused and continued strumming the notes, timing my breathes.
