He may or may not have been inspired by the cute boy's eyes. Zayn almost always used oil based paints whereas the boy in front of him draws everything with lead pencils. And, to be honest, some of his work scares Zayn.

Zayn has wanted to confront the beautiful lad about is seemingly horrifying work, but he is always too nervous.
What if I embarrass him?
What if he asks my why I'm looking at his work?
What if he ignores me?
What if it's a personal topic for him and he really doesn't want to talk about it?
These are just some of the questions Zayn thinks about before he attempts to ask the boy about his work. As you can probably tell, Zayn doesn't know this boy's name.
But he wants to.
He wants to know everything about him. His name, his birthday, his likes, his dislikes, his favorite movie, his favorite color, if he likes to read, what his childhood was like, what he wants to do in the future, how he thinks about himself, what inspires him.
But Zayn really just wants to kiss him.
"Hey, that looks stunning." Zayn looks up and swears he's about to have a heart attack because the cute boy was complimenting him.
"T-tha-thanks." F-ck his stupid stutter. It was always getting in the way of things.
"I'm Louis by the way." Louis... Louis. Such a beautiful name for an equally beautiful lad.
