The Doctor stared out the window of the car the next morning and shuddered to himself. Sarah put the parking break on and turned off the car silently.

"I'll roll you in and you can hand the form to The Brigadier and we'll turn around and leave. It should take five minutes." Sarah said gently checking her make up in the car mirror.

"Did you call the Brigadier? Are you sure he's there waiting for us? What if he's in the lavatory? Or if Monica is in the lobby?" The Doctor asked, nervously chewing on his scarf he had worn for moral support.

"Yes I'm sure here's the email I just got from him." She said showing him the text from only minutes ago. The Doctor if he still could would be bouncing his knee through the roof of the car. He felt his hearts beat in his ears and the car start to grow warm from them sitting in the sun.

"Okay, I'm ready..." He exhaled taking off his seatbelt and positioning himself for her to better put him in his chair. She helped him in and kissed his cheeks the way she always did before his therapy and medical tests.

"Let's prosecute the hell out of the bitch..." Sarah half growled in a way the doctor had never heard before leaving him scared and aroused at the same time. Sarah grabbed the handles to his chair and began to push him up the handicap ramp to army base's lobby.

The Doctor showed his ID to the receptionist who didn't even look up from her book and unlocked the secure doors. Once inside Sarah Jane moved her way down the hall, past the break room and bathroom, past multiple labs, and to the Brigadier's office.

The Doctor thanked Rassilon they hadn't run into anybody on the way there and now was put infront of the door way and the path to getting his freedom and piece of mind back. He put a hand to the door and felt himself tremble.

What if she knows where I live? What if she knows where Luke goes to school? What if she hurt Sarah Jane and he couldn't save her? The Doctor wondered hoping it wasn't too late to turn back. He froze stuck in his thoughts of What Ifs when Sarah kissed him gently pulling him back to earth.

"You're almost there my love." Sarah whispered giving his curls a good run through with her warm hands, making his fear melt away. He held the form tightly and knocked on the door. The Brigadier walked over and opened the door with a sad smile.

"Hello Dr. and Mrs. Smith, do you have the form for me?" He asked glancing down the hall just in case of Monica appearing. The Doctor nodded and handed him the letter. The Brigadier smiled and took the envelope and tucked it into his arm.

"Thank you, I'm very sorry considering the circumstances of this but I promise you, she will be removed as soon as possible and put on trial." The Brigadier said gently, noticing the fear that seemed to be in The Doctors eyes.

"Yes, thank you...do you need me at work soon?" The Doctor asked hoping the answer wasn't yes.

"No, I want you at home until she's out of here and in hand cuffs." The Brigadier said with angry sort of tone towards the Doctor's assistant even being mentioned. The Doctor faked a smile and shook his hand before finally being pushed back to the car. Once inside Sarah turned on the car and kissed him.

"I'm proud of you baby..." She said as he locked the door and looked around.

"Did anyone see us? Do you think she'd follow us home if she saw us?" The Doctor asked, the frightened timelord looking around and tracking every sound around them.

"Well it'll be hard for her once the car is moving. Plus we live ten miles away. We will be fine Doctor...it's over now. Your safe Doctor." Sarah said pulling out of the parking lot and and towards their house. She soon felt his hand join hers and smiled knowing they wouldn't be taken down by someone like his abuser, they were way too strong and cute for that.
