Ten

I never want this night to end. I just want to be with Mikey Cobban for the rest of my life. I don't want to have to leave him again.

Mikey let go of me, making me burst back into reality. He didn't say anything. He just looked at me.

"I've missed you so much," I mumbled, looking at the ground. There was a flyer for Bronnie on the floor with all of her social medias and contacts on. There was coats and bags all around me. I looked at how Mikey's shoe laces were tied unevenly. I couldn't bring myself to look at his face and I don't even know why.

"Do you remember when we first met? And neither of us spoke for weeks because we didn't know what to say?" Mikey asked, using his index finger to tilt my head up; making me look at him. "That's exactly how I feel now..."

Knowing Mikey remembered small things, like how we first met, made a beaming smile cover my entire face. 

"I've missed you so much, Jess," he continued, pulling me in for another hug. 

Quickly, I remembered that Mikey and I weren't alone. In fact we were stood in the venue of their first show of the tour, surrounded by angry fangirls that wanted to meet Mikey. However, I understand why they're angry, they just want to meet their idol, talk to him, tell him how much he's helped them through difficult times. Me? I've known Mikey for years and I talk to him daily; I don't deserve to take the time they have with him. 

"I should go, you need to meet all your amazing fans," I whispered to the tall, curly haired boy standing in front of me.

"Please don't leave, I dont want you to go," Mikey mumbled, grabbing both of my hands and interlocking out fingers; butterflies filling my stomach. 

"I need to, call me when you leave?" I suggested, squeezing Mikeys hands. 

"Okay," 

With that, Mikey gave me one last hug, squeezing me as tight as possible. Kissing the top of my head, we said our goodbyes and I left him to meet his fans as I walked around the busy venue to look for my friends. 

Just then, walking around by myself, I realised Mikey was gone... again...
