"C'mon Harry! I'll get out of this!" I yelled as Harry caught up with me, beads of sweat flowing down his forehead. Terror was written all over his face as Voldemort was closing upon us. We kept on running through a corridor till we reached a door at the end of of it. I grasped its rusty handle and turned it but to no avail; it was locked!

"Faster Harris, faster!!" Harry yelled desperately.

I took out my wand and pointing it at the door, shouted "Alohomora!"  which it didn't work, unfortunately. I kept on casting the spell endlessly and finally when I somehow managed to finally open it, Harry started screaming with pain. I turned around and ,to my horror, saw Voldemort wrenching the life out of Harry by using the Cruciatus Charm on him.

With an evil laugh, Voldemort pointed his wand again at Harry and shouted, "Avada Kedavra!"

I let out a moanful groan as I stared helplessly on Harry's lifeless body. Then, suddenly realising I was the next, I started trembling with fear so much, I finally fell against the door. Voldemort let out a menacing laugh and said, "Prepare to die, Harris Parker!" and with this, he pointed the wand at me.

"No, no, no, please! I'm-" but before I could complete, a strong jet of green light hit me squarely in my heart and I jumped up, yelling in pain. Voldemort's snake-like face disappeared to give away to my younger sister, Sarah's face whose face seemed to written over with the words, 'Got you!'.

I realized two things-

1) This was just a crappy dream from reading too much Harry Potter.

2) I was wet all over and shivering so uncontrallably, I was sure I would contract pneumonia  any second.

"It's time for school! Wake up, lazy-bones!" she said in a sing-song voice with a bucket in her hands.

"Why, you devil!?" I yelled and pounced upon her.

 ***********

It was a bad jump and since it was an expected reaction from my part, Sarah just jumped out of the way and I fell jaw-down and then face-down to the ground with a crash. I was sure my jaw was broken but luckily, it had not though it was still red and hurt. Sarah could only laugh and laugh on, seeing my plight.

To be honest, my sister should get the Best Meddle-some Sister of the Year Award!! Only I know how I've suffered ever since she was born!

It's true, even as a baby, she was really very much of devil, climbing onto my chest and then pinching my nose when I tried to sleep! Once, she nearly inserted a safety pin into her nostril and I got a clean, sharp scolding from Mom for not watching her properly.

God, she was clearly a devil!

It was the first day of school and we were already late because of my stupid alarm clock though I should say it's my fault since I didn't bother to change its time ever since it started running 10 minutes slow.

I was in the 9th grade while Sarah was in the 7th. My first day and it was already ruined.....all because of the devil of my sister. Picking up my bag and pushing Sarah to the door, I ran to Mom and said goodbye.

Mom gave me a quick hug and after saying, "Have a good day." went back to get ready for work. Well, for her, today is like any other day. Honestly, I wonder how adults manage with no vacations or short holidays like us except for occassions like Christmas. Talk about torture.

I ran out the door and caught up with Sarah though it was not many moments later when she was already fast ahead of me. I guess it's my weakness actually; whenever the world looks beautiful on a particular day and I'm outside, I tend to forget whatever I am doing and would admire its beauty until someone snapped me back to reality.
