he walks up the stairs slowly and opens the door

i lay my head down on the floor

lying on my side, hoping

just hoping he's successful

i really miss jaebum

it's silent for quite some time

suddenly i hear screams in pain and loud thuds coming from upstairs

specifically a loud thud of what seems to be a body falling to the ground

my body starts to tremble

"YOU CRAZY FUCKING BASTARD!"

i lift myself quickly from the ground

that was jaebum's voice

"YOU KILLED HIM!"

i hear the sound of jinyoung's laughten coming from above

"he had it coming to him"

oh no

no no no

"LET ME THE FUCK GO I DON'T KNOW WHAT RELATIONSHIP YOU HAD WITH MY BROTHER BUT LEAVE ME OUT OF IT."

a loud thud is heard

it's silent

the tears are pouring down my face

i'm shaking in fear

the door to the basement suddenly creaks open

it's jinyoung,

he has jaebum, knocked out, carried on his back

i turn to lay on my side facing the wall quickly

only the sound of grunts of stuggling and ropes being tied can be heard.

when it becomes quiet again, the sound footsteps coming near me increases

jinyoung grabs at my hair pulling me to my knees

i notice something in his hand but i can't focus on it from the pain on my scalp

"goodnight"

it's pitch black,

silent
