It had been two months since the last time I saw Sherlock, it was refreshing. We've decided to part ways as none of us was understanding the other. I cant say I was too happy about it...But I cant force him on anything really. We haven't told anyone, John and Mycroft AND Mary would try to interfere to try and get us closer or back together.

I was still at his flat, but I usually do my work in the morning and when I'm back at night I just go to bed early. We don't really talk as much, it was a little awkward between us, and anytime we're in the same room as each other we don't really talk. There's always tension between us.

Third Person POV

Viola's office

"Please come in" Viola was on time, she was welcoming her 'guest' to have a seat. "Viola, you're in good shape. How long has it been?" the woman named Reine asked shaking Viola's hand. "Six months?" Viola smiled insincerely as the woman walked in. "Indeed, six months. My business has expanded a lot!" Reine boasted.

"That's pleasant to hear!" Viola smiled politely. "It is... you seem to be doing better than the last time I saw you" Reine observed. "Hmm yes yes, I am you know got off the drugs myself" "Good for you!" "Yes yes...so let's talk business shall we?" Viola asked. "Of course!"

"I'd like to start off by asking about the Russian products. Quality is good?" Viola asked writing down on the papers in front of her. "Yes, although the manufacturing of 9/1 is not as good as 10/1" "What wasn't satisfactory about 9/1? They're done by the same person" Viola asked frowning down at the information.

"We've run some tests, aging them out gave us better results... it's true 9/1 was done later but we stored it for experiment. We used 10/1 immediately not letting the material rest" "So you're saying the older the better?" Reine nodded at Viola "Indeed it is. We prefer aging the products out for a month before selling"

"That is logical...well noted" Viola wrote some notes down on her pad and continued "What about the french grown products?" "Oh these were perfect. Dealers are going crazy over it in China, Saudi Arabia, and Italy" Reine replied satisfied. "Order quantity?" "Let's go for ten kilos this time..." "Alright and if you needed more you got my number!" Viola smiled politely putting her pen down next to the pad. "Very well then, that is all for the drugs..."

The meeting continued, and when it came to an end the two women chatted a little bit about different topics and Reine had brought up a soft topic for Viola. "I'm getting married in a month, if you'd like to attend" Reine said smiling "Ah wonderful! Starting a family yes?" "It's been a while since Omar and I are together.

He proposed and I couldn't be happier..." "Oh congratulations! When is the big day? I'd love to attend!" "We're thinking early May, spring wedding you know" "Oh of course, romantic" "Yes.. and I hear you're dating now? Mr.Sherlock Holmes" Reine asked amused as Viola looked confused "Uhm yes, yes I am.. very nice guy" "So you actually love him?" "Yes of course I do" "That's interesting, well congratulations" Reine smiled. Viola thanked Reine, they said their goodbyes and off she went.

Later that day, Viola has finished off her shift but stayed overtime. She received a disturbing letter and decided to stay at her office to brainstorm some ideas, when she found herself stuck the only thing that made sense to her was bringing the issue to Sherlock, or Mary. Unfortunately, she decided the latter. Since that issue was threatening to Sherlock, she did not want to involve him and realized she could protect him with a plan cooked up with Mary.

Night Time 8:00 PM

"Hey" Viola smiled half heartedly at the detective who was lying down like a child."You're not usually that late. Overworked yourself?" Sherlock asked opening his blue eyes to meet his former girlfriend's eyes. "Long day, how is the case going?" Viola asked as Sherlock got up rising up to his feet and straightening his shirt suit. "Ugh it's revolting...but the bigger question here is why were you at the office for 10 straight hours?" Sherlock inquired going into investigation mode.

"I had a few problems with clients, had to work up a new plan to increase our statistics" Viola sighed, she was lying but she did her best to cover it up. "Sounds boring" Sherlock said incurious. Viola noticed Sherlock was a little distressed "Are you alright Sherlock? You seem distracted"

"I'm alright, John asked me to be his best man... it's difficult" Sherlock sighed as Viola started chuckling "Oh boy hahahaha, and here I thought something huge was troubling you!" "It is huge, I've never expected that!" Sherlock scowled at his amused former girlfriend. "Don't worry, you'll ace it I'm sure" She reassured him, it was short conversation. Very short talk, casual. "You're troubled too" Sherlock muttered.

"It's just work" she smiled sadly leaning backwards. "I'm exhausted... I'll go rest" she looked down as he nodded knowingly something is up with her.

Viola changed into her pjs, and lied down not being able to shut her brain off. Her mind was set on the feud rising. Sherlock's brain wouldn't shut off either, he kept thinking of what the future had.

Thursday Morning

"I was thinking..." Viola decided to stay for breakfast with Sherlock, the letter was at the back of her head. She couldn't stop thinking. He looked up at her, "Yes?"

"I was thinking if it would be fine if I move out... we've been broken up for a while now and I think it's going to stay that way for the long term... What do you say to that?" Viola approached formally.

Sherlock saw that coming, but he saw a better explanation coming with it. He cleared his throat "Of course, whatever makes you comfortable. We agreed we'd deal with this like grown ups... although you haven't been yourself for quiet a while"

"I'll tell you this Sherlock, I haven't moved on from you yet.. completely. I want to give myself better chance to do so... we clearly aren't what we used to be three years ago...but there's tension between us and it's weird"

"That's correct"

"Sooo... uhm.. well I'm glad you're okay with this. Of course."

"Yes, of course. But I have a question though, is there anything else troubling you?" Sherlock asked suspicious.

"No, not at all. Just that I feel a little unhealthy Sherlock. I've always been honest with you, and I never ever thought.. in my life the day would come where I would be walking out on you or just simply us just..you know not getting along anymore. But I appreciate everything you've done for me. I never thought I would fall for someone in my life but thanks to you it happened and I do not regret anything of it. Just thought you should know that" Viola said, giving both of them closure.

"That's true, I never expected I would be in a long term relationship with someone. But it was pleasant while it lasted, I would say this once in my life and I guess it is to be said to you. I'll always..always have a soft spot for you" Sherlock smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Thank you. It was pleasant while it lasted indeed..." Viola smiled small.

A week later

Viola departed from London, she was back in France. Not with free will though. She allowed herself to get captured, for Sherlock's sake. But more on that later...
