"Grandpa! Welcome! I'm sorry for the mess!" Viola walked up to her grandpa and hugged him as he patted her back glaring at Sherlock who was just standing there awkwardly. "You're living with a man?" Jean-Pierre, her grandpa asked, his english was thick and unpracticed.

"Yes, but Sherlock, he's a flatmate thats all" Viola chuckled nervously. JP already heard everything before he walked in, and he's already taken a horrible impression on Sherlock. In his head, Sherlock was a playboy, an unfaithful man, a bastard who mislead Viola into having his kids. Of course he was not going to blame Viola for anything. She was his sweetheart.

"Good morning, sir I'm Sherlock" Sherlock cleared his throat nervously as he extended his arm to Jean-Pierre. Jean-Pierre took his scarf off and gave it to Sherlock instead of shaking his hand. "Viola, why are you living in such a mess? Qu'est-ce que tout ce verre sur le sol?" Jean-Pierre asked Viola about the glass on the floor.

"Cela a chuté par accident, grand-père" Viola responded that it was an accident as she kneeled down picking the glass pieces up while Sherlock helped. Jean-Pierre glanced at the photos on the table and picked them up. "Are you married? Where's your wife?" Jean-Pierre asked Sherlock pointing to the woman in the picture.
