This is my chance.

"You want a countdown?" G asks.

"Y'know what, smartass, I do." Rudolph replies, falling for it.

"Fine. Three."

I prepare my feet, and place them far enough to scoot me.

"Two."

I inhale through my nose, and out through my mouth.

"One."

-------------------------------------------------

That was it. My sign, my countdown, my chance.

Everything moved in slow motion. I wrapped my hands around the back legs of my chair and exhaled. I centered my eyes on where the glass was settled on the floor. I closed my eyes and inhaled, waiting for the first sign of a loudly creaked cabinet.

"Here ya go!" G said loudly and obnoxiously.

I'm surprised the officer didn't even sense his suspiciousness of announcements.

As soon as I heard his bony fingers land on the cabinet, I put all of my strength into my legs and clenched the legs of the chair for dear life.

I lifted into the air - not too high - but just enough to push myself perfectly over to the small shard of glass. I landed right next to it. Now, if G hadn't tied my hands so unnecessarily tight to the chair, I could literally just reach down and grab the glass.

Unfortunately, G was an asshole.

Now how am I gonna get that glass? I need to fall. Perfectly and quietly. Unless G is smart enough to know that I'm going to need more than one distraction.

"Is this some kind of joke?" I hear the Chief say.

"You said you-"

"The Head of The Royal Guard, Undyne, wouldn't stand for this shit so neither will I!" He begins to shout.

I hear him shove someone's body out of the way. His heavy footsteps follow shortly after, and they're getting closer to where I am.

"Open this one." He says.

There's a long pause of silence before there is a response. Probably G and Grillby both thinking of a way out of the situation.

"What exactly are you looking for, Chief?" Grillby asked.

As he speaks, I can hear shuffling. Probably Grillby walking, seeing as how G's footsteps were closer to me on the other side of the wall to my left; and the Chief's footsteps stopped from where he was before.

"You know what." He responded.

"Clearly we don't. What's going around making you turn on your own friends?" G asked.
