That afternoon Christine and the phantom were eating lunch toeghter. And Christine noticed while she was eating that the phantom wasn't the nicest eater, he rushed though his meal and stuffed his face, leaving bits of food on his face. Christine tried to not to look, but it was hard not to stare at him while he eat. Once the phantom saw that Christine noticed his messy eating habits he quickly wiped his chin with his hand. Meg wanted to help him so she pushed a napkin towards him, and he slowly picked it up, doing a very poor job of cleaning his face. Christine felt bad for him and put down her spoon and rasied her bowl slightly, smiling a bit. The phantom did the same, and then they both drank their soup.
After lunch Christine and the phantom went outside to go play around in the snow. Christine was enjoying spending time with him, and wondered why didn't see how kind he was when they first met. "There's something sweet and almost kind, but he was mean and he was course and unrefined. And now he's dear and so unsure I wonder why I didn't see it there before." Christine sat down near the phantom who was struggling to feed the birds because they keep flying away because they were scared of his mask. Christine put more bird seeds in his hands and the birds came racing in grap one. The phantom was very pleased to have finally feed the birds, and he looked at Christine who was smiling at him. "She glanced this way, I thought I saw and when we touched she didn't shutter at my claw . No it can't be, I just ingorne.
But then she's never looked at me that may before." Christine walked behind a tree, and continued her song. "New and a bit almarimg, who would ever thought that this could be. True that he's no price charming, but there's something in him that I simply didn't see. "
After Christine stopped singing she picked up some snow and threw it in the phantom's face.
The phantom looked shocked for a mintue, but then he made his own snowball and threw it at Christine. Inside the castle the servants were happily watching the two of them get along very nicely. "Well who had thought,"
Firmin said looking at them though a window. "Well bless my soul," Madam giry exclaimed.
"Well who've had know," piangi said trying to get a spot by the window to see. "Well who indeed,"
Giry sang, "well who've had guessed they would've come toeghter on their own."
"Well wait and see, a few days more, there may be something there wasn't there before."
"You know perphas there's something there, that wasn't there before. " piangi said watching Christine and the phantom sit toeghter by the fireplace. "What is it, what's there?" Meg asked clearly confused. "There may be something there that wasn't there before. " Giry sang,
"What's there mama?" Meg asked still confused. "Shh I'll tell you when your older."
