Marcus^^

Blaire's POV

My birthday was a long and tiring day, but I so much fun. Only once did anyone bring up changing me into a vampire, but it's been two days since then.

"Daddy?" I asked going into his study. He was planning a charity event that would take place in two months. He looked up from the laptop, "Yes dear?"

"We need to talk, grab aunt Bekah, uncle Nik, and CaseyLynn. It's important. Meet me in by the pool." I said, he nodded and I walked to the pool.

Pacing, I wondered on how I would start this conversation. "Little one?" I stopped pacing and turned toward my family. "What's this about little witch?" CaseyLynn asked me.

"I need to be turned, and soon." I blurted out. They all froze, faces pale. "Why do you believe that?" Auntie Beks squeezed out.

"Because auntie Beks, if I'm going to protect myself from enemies of yours, I need to know how to control myself as a vampire and these new powers I'm supposed to get. It's going to happen in a few years, and there is no telling how I could be turned, but I want it to be you all who turn me. Not some random vampire trying to hurt you." I said staring at daddy in the eyes.

They all were quiet, thinking about what I said. "She's right Elijah. If you want her to be turned of straight original blood, it needs to be done by you and your siblings, otherwise she'll be turned of tainted original blood from your bloodlines. And if you all mix your blood, she'll be safer if some figure out that killing you kills your bloodline." CaseyLynn spoke up from the table.

The three originals sighed. Auntie Beks turned to daddy. "I hate this Elijah, but both of them are correct." Uncle Nik nodded along with his sister and daddy sighed.

"Tonight then. My siblings and I will mix our blood, but only if you can find a spell for her to turn peacefully, not a regular death like any other." On that last part he turned to my mentor.

"I have a spell that will be activated while she sleeps. She won't feel a thing and when she wakes up she will be in transition. I'll go out after the spell takes affect and get a blood bag for her when she wakes." CaseyLynn stated and we all nodded.

Since it was around 1 in the afternoon, daddy and I went to the pool, uncle Nik went to town, and auntie Beks wanted some alone time. "Tomorrow when you wake and finish transition, I have something all of you must know." She said before walking down to the shore were waves were being pulled and pushed.

I swam for a few hours, my bright colored tail swishing behind me.

Rebekah's POV

After we had the plan to reluctantly turn Blaire into a vampire, I figured that after she finishes transition that she needs to be told of her other destiny.

So I told my siblings, niece and CaseyLynn that tomorrow I needed to speak with them, and left them on their own as I wondered down to the beach. As I neared the shore line, I paused. Looking out at the crashing waves crushes my heart but I know land is where I belong, until Blaire is older and no longer needs us to care for her anymore.

"My queen." A voice said and I turned.

"Marcus," I greeted my old friend. "Forgive me for showing up unannounced. But the cities are frantic my queen, questioning if you will be back with the prophesied princess or not. The generals of the kingdoms are on the edge of war." He spoke quickly.

"Tomorrow is when I tell my family of who I am under the sea. Two hours past noon, tell the generals that I demand their presence here, no earlier and no later. Otherwise they will deal with me. After explaining to my family I will be down for a few weeks to calm our people. For now, go back to my palace and ask Terra to have a feast for an army ready by no later then five in the afternoon tomorrow. I may bring my family but if not I know how much the generals will eat on their own." I spoke.

"Yes my queen. Do you require me here tomorrow when you reveal?" He asked and I nodded, Marcus was my oldest friend below the sea. I sent him on his way and continued staring. The sun was setting, a full moon rising high above the water.

I walked back to the house, not ready to see my niece being turned into a vampire at the age of 9. I got into the house and heard everyone in Blaire's room.

I flashed up there, seeing Blaire in bed and my brothers beside her. CaseyLynn was mixing ingredients in a bowl. I stood in the doorway, watching everything. The liquid CaseyLynn made was poured into a vile, a light blue color.

"This potion is both a sleeping and heart stopping potion. You'll fall asleep within a hour and slowly your heart will give out. You won't fill a thing, and you will wake up at 11:30 in the morning." The witch stated handing the vile to my oldest brother, who then looked at his daughter.

"Are you completely sure about this?" He questioned. "Yes daddy, I am. This is what needs to happen." I know this needs to happen but it doesn't make it any better.

Yes, she will age until she turns 19, but she will still have to drink blood and there is a small chance that she will lose control. Elijah, vile in hand, nods at Blaire. He hands the vile of blue liquid to her and sighs.

"I'll see you in the morning." Blaire says before putting the vile to her lips and drinking the potion. After finishing it, I take it from her. She lays back on her bed, eyes closing fixing to fall asleep. Seems she fell asleep faster than a hour, but her heart won't stop as quickly.

Elijah stays in her room all night as Nik and I wait downstairs quietly. Around three in the morning we finally hear the last beat of her heart before everything went quite.

We stared at each other before racing upstairs. We entered Blaire's room, CaseyLynn had already given us a bag full of blood bags so she could feed right after she woke up. Elijah sat in a chair right beside Blaire, holding her hand.

"She would never had been in this much danger if she hadn't of met us on that train." He spoke softly. "Brother you know that's a lie she would have been in worse danger if she hadn't have met us, met CaseyLynn to control her power and had us to help protect her. She needed us and you know good as well that she was the thing we needed most in the world." Nik told our brother.

"Nik's right right Lijah. Blaire needed us and we really needed her. The time she has been with us, think about it. This is the closest as family we have ever been. Before we were all fighting each other and let our enemies turn us against each other. You and I both were on the verge of going along with the Salvatore's plans in killing our brother. We let the doppelgänger play with our emotions until there was nothing but hatred toward him. Blaire blocked all of that. We no longer fight to dangerous extremes, we do not turn on each other. We will not be controlled because the person that fixes us is laying on that bed Elijah. Blaire is family, and family protects each other." I said grabbing both of my brothers hand.

"Always and forever right brothers? Now we have another family member to add to that promise. The most important family member." I said. My brothers looked to Blaire and then to each other.

They each grabbed one of Blaire's hand, the other holding one of mine.

"Always and forever."
