Chapter 11

April's POV

As I woke up around 6, I walked down stairs, Dad was already awake.

"Hey, Dad" Walking over to him and kissing my cheek. "Tanner is coming, around, are you leaving soon?" I asked, grabbing a glass of water out of the cupboard.

"Hey pumpkin, leaving in about ten, guess I better say 'Hi' to tanner though."

As If it was almost a coincidence, the doorbell rang, "I'll get it," I said skipping over to the door.

As I opened the door, I was met Tanner, carrying two coffees, and a tea. Engulfing him in a hug and a sweet kiss on the cheek, being careful as dad is around.

"Morning Coach, I got you a coffee." I heard a raspy voice in my ear.

"Thanks Tanner, hope your treating April well." I sighed rolling my eyes.

"Of Course I am, how can I not she's an angel," he said letting go of me and wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

I chuckled quietly, "Alright Dad, I suppose you better get going."

"Alright, Alright," he said shaking my hair and kissing my head.

As he walked out the door, I turned to Tanner and he kissed my lips, "Gosh, I missed you."

"Same, come on I need to go get ready." We walked upstairs and I started to get ready.

As I put on my makeup, Tanner kept saying that I didn't need it. Later when I was done, we ended up taking photos in front of the mirror. I posted them to Instagram so my one thousand people can see, of course I forced Tanner to post one as well, as he had more than me, he was the star player on the team, everyone wanted to know him. Of course I was the lucky one who got to date him.

As we'd finished our drinks and grabbed our things we walked out the door. Earlier dad had called me saying that my English teacher wanted me to join Tanner's class for today, which was good as I hate being alone.

We had English first up, the drive to school was usual, we blasted music and held hands the whole time. Turns out when I got in the car Tanner had gotten us a present, matching hats. Which had to be the sweetest thing ever.

I kind of denied at first as it was going to ruin my hair, but he convinced me. He told me that he doesn't mind doing cheesy or embarrassing things for the people he loves, he does it a lot for Emily. How did I get so lucky?

As we walked into school, everyone was saying 'hello' to Tanner and looking at me, I felt more and more awkward by the minute so I gripped on tighter to his arm. It felt different getting this type of attention, but the thing that got me worried most. Was the fact that Harry and the rest of his guys were sitting on the table under the tree not far from us.

As the rest of Tanner's friends showed up, as we walked past the tree towards English. My heart sunk as the boys started walking towards us. The number of guys were equal, 5 vs 5. As Tanner noticed the grip from his hand tightened, his jaw clenched and he loudly swallowed. It was like a scene in a movie, as both side stared at each other, I felt so small.

"Ready for round two, Tanner?"

"Not today, Styles."

"Oh come on, scared are we?" Tanner pulled me closer to him.

"No, not at all, but you wouldn't want another fight to go on your record do you?"

As Harry walked closer, His friends and Tanner and his friends had an instant reaction. Harry grabbed me again pulling me closer to him, Tanner and his friends trying to pull away but this time failing again.

"You see, I always get what I want." Harry spoke again.

I kept my eye on Tanner, watching as Harry gave me a kiss on my head and whispered, "Tonight, I will see you, baby girl." At this point I was shaking scared.

As Harry let go and began to walk away, Tanner rushed over to me.

"You okay, what did he say?"

I told him everything, to be honest I was so sick of Harry, and so was Tanner.

I'm glad I have someone by my side, I feel less scared. As we walked into the English class, I got a swarm of stares, the English professor obviously knew what was up as I was the only girl compared to a class of 50 Boys. As we took our seats the professor spoke.

"Good Morning Boys, and Girl, If you haven't noticed there is indeed a girl in our class care to introduce yourself April," As I slowly turned around facing the majority of the class, I swallowed a ball of saliva in my throat and spoke. "Hey, I'm April, the coaches' daughter, I moved from Huston Texas about 3 months ago, and yea." As I took my seat again, tanner swang his arm back around my shoulder, and he professor spoke again. Throughout the lesson I heard whispers, I'm pretty sure Tanner did as well cause he either turned around at them to turned to me.

As the lesson finished and we all walked out, we found Connor and Summer, we agreed to take tanners car all together. Summer and I complimented each other's outfits, like a normal girl would do, Tanner and Connor had a good old conversation about football and were laughing at our conversation about outfits. Tanner did his usual open the door for me, as Summer told Connor he should take lessons from Tanner, I thought it was very funny. As we drove to the lunch spot, we jammed out on music and laughed together, it was such a fun time.

Arriving at the Restaurant, we chose a booth, and chatted and laughed together. The waiter came and started hitting on Summer and I. The boys looked pissed, it was so funny, but the boy got a hell of a fright when Tanner told him to bugger off. Of course I would never choose him, Tanner is too sweet.

As we finished in the restaurant we decided to head out to the movies watching a horror film, which I hated so I just cuddled up to Tanner the whole time, we decided to take a group photo and head home.

A/N

Hey guys sorry its been so long, I did really well on my biology i got an A- YAY!!!!!! 

So anyway im going to try to write more, the holidays are coming up and im either going to be working or riding my Horse.
