Chapter 13

Tanner's POV

April has been missing for 5 hours, I called her dad as well as the cops everyone, the cops said I couldn't do a missing person's case until she has been missing for 48 hours. Her dad is worried as well, I told Connor and Summer, Summer almost started crying they're helping me find her, but I knew exactly who took him. The problem was trying to find him. I went home to see if she was there as well as trying to cool off, but I ended up taking my anger out on Emily, I'm a terrible older brother.

I had to cheer her up as well as clear my head so we decided to cuddle and watch Disney movies. Emily fell asleep half way through the movie, meanwhile I couldn't sleep there was too much on my mind. Where are you April and Harry???

Harry's POV

I had to get out of there, the boys were pissing me off and I bet April was scared, but I wanted to let her know I was save, I needed her. She was like a drug, one that no many how many times I saw it, there was a smile on my face. I can't believe that she picked that Tanner guy over me, what does he have that I don't.

As I drove down the street with April staring out the window in the passenger seat. I couldn't help but admire her beauty, her hair was softly laying over her shoulders and her breathing was nice and soft, I could tell that she was worried, her breath seemed out of order.

"Shouldn't you be focusing on the road?" her small, soft, angel like voice distracted me instantly.

"I can't help but stare, you are very beautiful you know that right?" I asked, she didn't respond, "you know that don't you."

"How is this relevant than taking me home?" A tear slid down her cheek, I instantly pulled the car over?

"I-I'm scared, why did you take me?" My heart shattered, I didn't want to scare her.

"I'm not sure to be honest, since the first time I saw you, I couldn't stop think about you. I've never really fell in love with a girl, I've always just used them for sex. But somehow you make me feel something different, I actually want to be there for you April."

She lifts her head up from looking at her lap, "I can't win, its either you or Tanner and I love Tanner, every time I have been around you all that has been happening is trouble."

"What can I do, I don't know how to act, I've never felt this way about anybody before." She looked speechless.

"I-I-I" before she could finish what she could say, I jumped over to her side holding on to her, a car had hit the back of mine, it hit the back of the car sending the car flying forward.

As the car had stopped, with the airbags out, smoke coming from the engine and a quietly sobbing April, I caught my breath and slowly sat back up to try and get back to my seat. As I leaned back I felt a force stopping me from moving, as I tilted my head down I saw Aprils fists grabbing on to my shirt. Her eyes were teary and she was shaking.

"Are you okay, thank you for saving me." Her breath was shaky.

"It's nothing really, I'm okay though I don't think I'm Hurt-"

April leaned in and hugged me, she rested her head on my shoulder and cried, I wrapped my arms around her small frame. I felt terrible, if I didn't take her with me, this would of never happen, I guess I just have to deal with the fact that her and I will never happen.

"We better get out of the car, just in case it catches on fire, I'll call one of the boys." We walked out of the car and we went to the side of the road as I called the boys.

About 15 minutes later the boys arrived, I lost the plot at the guy who hit my car, luckily he said he will pay for the damage and is thankful that no one got hurt. I decided that I should take April home.

As we arrived at her house I didn't want her to tell, I told her that I will leave her alone if she doesn't tell.

As we pulled up to the drive way there was only three cars, April's, Tanner and her fathers. As the car came to a holt, her front door flung open and out ran Tanner and her Father, its about to become something terrible. April slowly walked out of the car as Tanner and her father hugged her.

I was too focused on the reunion that I completely spaced out. Both the boys had grabbed a hold of my shirt. "What the hell did you do to her." There was yelling and pushing all around, I couldn't focus I felt my blood boiling.

"STOP!" April spoke, her usual angel like voice sounded confused, worried as well as sad.

"I know you and dad must have gone through stress, when it came to me been missing, but the good thing is I'm home now, and im safe." She directed the conversation to Tanner and her father.

I'm grateful April didn't mention anything she shouldn't have, as she began to walk towards me, Tanner prepared to hold her back, "Thanks for today," she reached up and kissed my cheek. Then she turned around and walked through the front door, the burning feeling was still left on my cheek. Burning in a good way, I felt my cheeks red, turning on the car and driving off the thought of April was stuck in my mind.

April's POV

"How are you feeling," Harry had left and Tanner and I were in my room. What a long day.

"I'm fine, just wanted you to know, because I went away for a little bit, it doesn't mean I don't love you anymore, it's just a lot of things have happened lately and its all over whelming me, please forgive me and don't put the blame on harry."

He sighed, accepted what I had said, after getting ready for bed, switching off the light and cuddling I thought a lot, I couldn't sleep. Do I regret lying to Tanner, Do I regret hanging out with Harry, No. Do I like harry. Yes. With that my eyes dosed off into a peaceful sleep.
