Chapter 8

Mia's POV

Awsten and I came downstairs hand in hand to see Jenna,Tyler,Jess,and Josh all snuggled up on the couch eating pizza. I felt awkward not getting along with two of the people there so i just awkwardly held Awsten's hand and went to sit down with them. Tyler was the first to notice me being uneasy 

"hey Mia, it's ok you guys can sit next to me and Jen" 

"thanks Ty" so me and Awsten sat there cuddled while the other couples ate and talked about their day, everything was fine until Jess had to open her mouth.

"Im surprised you can walk, we heard everything down here" I blushed and looked down. somehow i felt Jess was trying to be friendly.

"hey jess, i know we haven't had the best friendship, since what you told me last time but i don't want to argue with you anymore. I genuinely hope we can be friends" I smiled up at her to see her have tears in her eyes.

"i miss our friendship too Mia" and she jumped up and we hugged. Everyone just looked at us because they never expected that to happen. Tyler being his nosy usual self said

 " Wow, took you 5 months to be friends again, and its taken 2 and half years  to even want to look at josh"

"whatever" Josh looked at me with sadness in his eyes i shrugged it off

Awsten looked at his phone and then at me "Mia, baby i have to go. Love you" and gave me a kiss on the cheek before exiting out rapidly. My heart basically sunk and i now i just sat there 5th wheeling. I stood up to leave but before that Tyler looked at me and said

"you're not going anywhere, come sit down over here" i rolled my eyes but came back

"why" i asked 

he replied with a "i don't want you to be all alone upstairs when you have the four of us who care about you"

"3" i corrected, josh didn't care about me and neither did i 

Tyler once again being oblivious said "didn't you and jess just make up" and then me being stubborn again replied with 

"yes thats why i included her with you and jen" and realization hit him while Josh just watched and looked down

"look Tyler it's best for me to just go upstairs, you guys can have your couples night and ill just go upstairs. Plus i have homework to do and it's from my Honor's class so it's gonna take longer to finish" i practically begged to go upstairs and i looked at them with glossy eyes and Tyler replied once again with a stubborn "no, now get your skinny ass to come sit next to me and jen on the couch"

"Can i at least go get my phone?" i asked and he replied 

"ok, just hurry" then i heard Josh ask Tyler if he could use the bathroom. Fuck. The bathroom's upstairs right next to my room. Fuck me in the asshole. i thought . As i was about to open  the door to my room Josh came up to me and said

 "Mia, don't you ever fucking dare say i don't care about you. You're the best and most beautiful girl I've ever seen and i don't know what id do without you" 

i looked up and down at him i wanted to be petty, he's basically lying to my face. But i also wanted to tease him "too bad you have Jess and i have awsten" i paused for a second and he seemed to look up at me with hope in his eyes. and then i crushed it by saying "and too bad i have no fucking feelings for you" and went inside my room slamming the door.

No way I'm going back downstairs

Lmao this was uneventful, i told my friend i wanted this to be a long chapter and she was like hop you don't get writers block and i got confident and said i wouldn't and guess what i got.... writers block anyways chapter 9 is going to be more eventful. so yeah byyyeeee for now..
